    Car runs so much better with the 9th gen ecu. More power upper end and just sounds healthier.
    AS far as mpg. I think it's pretty close between 8th gen intake/ecu vs 9th gen intake/ecu. I'm sure the
    8th gen still has the advantage there. But having a little more power up top is worth it.
    Next stop, Dyno time!

    As close as possible. I do a full warm up in the morning. Fill up at the same gas station with the same pump at the same time of the morning till it clicks by itself. Then drive straight to the shop. On the way back home I turn it on, Let it idle for 1 minute and start driving home. These 2 runs were averaging about 72mph

    Thats good but who knows if your getting the same gas or not.. quality wise. A truck could have just come in with good gas.

    Right. But I doubt that the difference would be 5mpg. The car just runs better with it's calibrated ECU.
