    hey Scott, it's hard to tell from that angle, but it looks like the trumpets still extend past the splash guard, so it wouldn't be very effective? Looks good though :)

    The CAI still provides cold air to the trumpets. I put it back in there specifically for that purpose. It has no filter on the end of the pipe in the bumper, and acts as a ram tube to force air into the engine bat during acceleration.

    Yep, my 110mm trumpets are almost as long as the width as the shield, but it will act as a barrier between sand, dust and stones. There's always be the risk that they can enter into the trumpets but with the shield in place it restricts their path a little more.
