    na i kidd....the smoke is mostly likely because the engine is cold? almost ever car here in cali does that when they start it up for the first time during the winter time. Im guessing its normal, im a little over 240k and still runs fine

    I'm speaking for experience. I know some of the 8th gens had a terrible burning problem just like some of the 7th gens. I guess see if it stops after winter, but keep an eye on the oil level.

    I filled up my car with oil yesterday, went on a 3 hour trip to gonzales, came back and it had about the same level....im guessing mine is ok?

    I was unaware "unburnt fuel" leaves a black residue all over the exhaust and shoots out like a cloud every time you step on the gas. :rolleyes:
