I'ma install it on Thursday. I gotta take the intake manifold off to swap out the knock sensor. It should take me about 5 minutes to do

Got it installed. Seems to be running better. Powerband is a bit smoother. But we'll see as soon as I put it on the Dyno.

Plus my LTFT's are normal now. With the 8thgen ecu it was running at -15%. Now It's about +2%. So It's much better.
Ima do another MPG run on Saturday to see what the difference is.

For realz. I don't know if it'll be able to beat the 8th gen manifold and ecu though... I've been able to get 50mpg on that old setup with an oil burning engine

Why is your mileage so shitty? You have a brand new motor.

Maybe it's my driving style. I really don't know. When I clean the filter it goes up temporarily but it's still low. No CELs or anything

Have you done a tune up? Plugs, wires, air filter, clean the MAF, check the air in your tires, change your oil, stuff like that

plugs, wires, and MAF have never been changed/cleaned. The car was garaged for maybe 2-3 years before i got it and I didn't even change the oil till about 6 months afterwards. I used the old gas as well. Maybe in that time span some stuff got screwed up that needed to be changed/fixed when I got the car.

You could check your fuel filter too. And use some injector cleaner.

Not sure. I know a lot of it is placebo lol. I told myself the intake/exhaust made a slight difference, but all I do is drive faster because it sounds amazing.

Nah I drove the truck much. A white chevy truck blends in away from cops much better than a loud lowered car with gold rims.
