    In 1st and 2nd the torque steer pulls the steering wheel to the left or right so I was trying to keep the car in a straight line, haha. In any other gear my hand naturally rests on the steering wheel as my left elbow is on the extended armrest. Usually I just cruise around with one hand on the wheel and one hand on my knob ;)

    I replaced the factory screws that hold the trumpets on with some much nicer looking hex key screws today. Simple yet effective :). I also took some proper shots of the new engine bay:

    Haha you guys never fail to put a smile on my face :). Cheers for the compliments ;)

    My ITB splash guard arrived from the US today so I wasted no time in chucking it on. It's made by Techno Toy Tuning and is brushed aluminum, specifically for the Blacktop. It's really best suited to smaller trumpets such as 50mm and 70mm, since my 110mm ones are about the same length as the guard itself, but should still help prevent any water and stones etc from making their way further up into the engine bay. It ties in nicely with the trumpets and makes them look a bit more at home, while also acting as a gasket between the ITB's.

    I heard it's hard to correctly tune all the individual tb's... did you take it somewhere to get it dialed in or does it run good enough already?

    Factory ITB's, so the car is designed to run quads from factory ;). When doing an ITB conversion to another engine, such as a Mazda etc it takes a lot of tuning to get right as it was never intended for the engine and ECU, but in the case of the 20v Blacktop everything is designed to run perfectly. Trickier on the 20v Silvertop as they run an AFM, so you need an aftermarket ECU to run trumpets without the airbox, but the Blacktop is MAF so no problems :)

    Haha, that's why I was so determined to go for the Blacktop engine over the Silvertop. The Silvertop's come into the junkyard all the time, but I hate AFM set-ups.
