    They both look pretty straight and good. Once you paint them you wont be able to tell anyways.

    Variable valve timing was introduced on the 2000 corolla, which is the only year of the 8th gen to have the old front end with the revised engine, making the 2000 the 8.25 gen lol

    oh... well i was wondering about swaps but thats not really on my list of to-dos at the moment... but the motors are interchangeable right? what would have to be done any threads on here about that?

    Any of the zz engines are basically interchangeable, lots of wiring to go from a 1zzfe to a 2zzge though. And Ryan nah those aren't your rims, trying to remember what he had though.

    That is easier, as the engine is exactly the same, as far as mounts and things, because it's basically the exact same thing. You could go on TN and start a new thread asking how to convert non-vvti to vvti. (inside joke)

    You need the ECU for a VVTI-i motor. Other than that swapping from non to vvti is plug n play.
