Let me explain- I am not happy with the mods you are doing to the car, as I also thought with the 7th gen. And seeing as that was a UFO car, and this is the second, it's UFO 2.0. And it makes me sad, so cBass face. You end up with UFO 2.0 cBass face.

Oh yeah, I know you don't like the window LEDs. But I haven't shown any more pics of them or mentioned them since I put them on, so I was confused why you were saying that.

And I still don't see how one LED strip on each door is such a big deal, a "massive amount of LEDs" ... maybe I should install more to show you what I can really do, like I did on the Corolla ;)

Yesterday, I finished the fog lights. It was a simple matter of swapping out one bezel for another. I also polished the lenses using a random-orbital buffer and some old Meguiars Scratch X. I was really surprised how easily & quickly the lenses cleared up! Obviously, all the pitting is still there, but it's good enough. Then they were sealed with Meguiars lens sealer.

Since that was the first time I ever polished a lens (or anything) I was excited to try some more. My dark-chrome head lights also had the faded yellow mess all over them already, so I went for it. This picture shows the left side untouched, and the right side about half done.

Left side finished! Wow, so clear again, and so easy! Maybe I can sell these head lights after all....

And then I moved to my brother's "new" MR-2, which was in perfect shape except for the head lights. Again, left is untreated, right is polished.

So then I went to the store and got an assortment of cleaning products!

You can see the polisher and Scratch X I already had. I got another buffer pad to use with the Ultimate Restore compound, a clay bar kit, a headlight restore kit (for future needs), as well as interior dash and leather cleaner/restorer wipes. I already had the rust converter, tire shine (never used though) and 303 spray. I forgot to put the engine & wheel degreaser in the pic.

And today, I finished the rear bumper :D (lots of filling, sanding, priming, repeat)

I am also working on the rear end (rust and dents). The rust is all gone, and I've Bondoed the quarter panel.

I dont get it, i thought you said you dont wash your car or service it yet you bought like $100 worth of detailing proda.....you have extra time to do the MR2 headlights and wont do a simple oil change on your car so confused that my head started to hurt....

sorry gold but im not in a good mood today...

That's OK, I didn't think you were ever in a good mood :( lol :p

But isn't it obvious.... I am caring about my car more now. Remember a few months back I didn't give a darn? Well now I do. I forgot the oil though, so I have to go back and get it.

Gold, will that polishing remove light scratches in plastic head lights? Can you make a DIY and required tools/products? My head lights have some light scratches and hazing but I think it's the clear coat :(

Yeah, that $20 random-orbital buffer from Walmart and some old Meguiars ScratchX (though the new 2.0 is better) took out all my yellowing and hazing. It didn't do anything for the deep pitting from rocks, but at least they are clear now. You can do the same to yours and it will clear them right up. You can also buy any kit for it (you see I got the Meguiar's kit, it's the same thing, buffer and polish) because your lights aren't that bad.

Yeah Roach, I got this and wanted to see how it did before I bought a Porter Cable :) So far so good though, although it could use more HP.

Just be careful not to burn them hummer. It's a lot easier to do with the plastic lenses instead of glass.
