I've had the chance to plastidip a couple pieces of my car like emblems and the grill bezel, but now I'm thinking I want to plastidip the whole damn thing now. Basically matte black in rubber form that can be removed later if I want. It's going to look bad ass. This is the Lexus btw, not the Corolla. What do you guys think?

I've seen it on a 2IS, and it looks ghetto. In fact, it looks ghetto on any other car unless it's fully built (ie it's badass already).

^^You got a point. Once I got some work done to it, I'll do it.

As in it needs an aggressive body/lip kit, hella flush wheels, and slammed to the ground.

Ya wheels, coilovers, and exhaust first.

Don't think I'm doing exhaust. There's really no point since that's the lowest power gain mod you can do. Plus I like the thought of replacing my stock tips with S2000 AP2 tips on my stock mufflers. Looks bad ass. I will however get the PPE racing headers(Yes plural since I have 2. ;) ) with high flow cats. Adds 16 whp. I actually will do the suspension first before the wheels are done. Need some Fsport sways and BR racing coilovers with Swift springs. Going to drop and tuck. Might just plastidip the wheels for now.

I think he meant exhaust to make it sound badass.

Well the exhaust will make the car too loud. The racing header with a stock exhaust will be loud enough already. I think it will balance out that way.

Yeah, don't do anything obnoxious. I like the tone I have with stock exhaust and magnaflow muffler. Would like to delete a resonator though.

well i MIGHT get a hold of some custom 4-2-1 headers in the near future, then do a high flow cat straight back to muffler. I want something that will actually muffle though. I don't like loud.

I just love the sound of a deep tone rumble in a v6.
Not something that turns on and sounds like a lawn mower.

The corolla is more of a, how you say, rich blender sound.

You gotta clear coat it afterwards! My friend just did his about 2 weeks ago and brought it over. Looked like a primer job without the clear coat.

black and yes it looked flat. Remember, just because his doesn't look good doesn't mean it's not achievable.
That picture of the Subaru looks awesome. I think you just have to put many coats plus the glossifier coat.

Yup. Watched a video on dipyourcar.com. It said you need at least 5 coats to help get rid of the streaks

Yeah the gun they sell with their kit is practically the same as the ones sold at OSH. Webber guns.

The gun is not expensive at all. I'll invest in one later. Now black or white plastidip is the question. I've seen cars with both. Both look awesome.
