What i had to remove to access the ECU
    [IMG]
    The mess
    [IMG]
Ended up using male hidden d-sub pins soldered and crimps the the wires, and slid into the smaller slots on the ECU connectors.

Then jam that shit back in there.

Waiting to see if the hunting goes away.

I think he's referring to the fact that I don't have he swapped ECUs. However if he's talking about manifolds I strongly urge him to look back a couple of pages. I'm very well swapped and quite far along my list of engine mods. Not quite turbo'd yet duh. Staying NA for now till I hit 180 whp.

I'm assuming so. Both crolla and Machupicchu have stated something that leads one to believe they don't know about it.

Wha? I meant have you swapped your ECU for the celica?

So i went to smog today and it turns out my intake is only legal for the 03 matrix . Also my idle hasn't come down so they couldn't even begin the testing. I really need to get this figured out. I think i might have to make everything stock and just say fuck it with the corolla.

hey irvin don't you own a smog place?

Yeah i figured you were mentioning that for posterity. you dont want a bunch of newbies swapping out crystals as their first few mods on their car without supporting mods.

So Irvin just learned me that the 9th and 8th gen IACVs have different part numbers and most likely different voltage references. So this could be my issue, regardless of wether it is faulty or not.
