It got installed when the car first came into the country in the year 2000 (way before I owned it). Had to be fitted by law. Much brighter than the OEM third brake light so decided to leave it there :)

    Some new shots from me:

Not a huge fan of the fish-eye toe shots from the rear, but on another note how long did you have to wait for that puddle to be still before taking those pics?

Haha, the wind kept picking up and then dying back down, but the main thing I had to wait for was the clouds to cover the sun so the car wasn't too bright (sun + my white paint = horrible overexposure). So as soon as a brief cloud came over I had to take my shot regardless if the wind had died down to make the water still enough, so it was a bit of a hit or miss, especially since there were only a couple of clouds in the sky so I only had very limited opportunities. Got a few relatively good ones out of it though fortunately

Thanks man. I actually like the second to last one the best too :)

Yep, some JDM 6th Gen's had the C grille too. There were a few styles available, the rarest being the slat grille type which came with the wagon face (very very rare).

    Here's some pics:

I've done a number of things over the last month or so, but never bothered to mention them, lol.
    Such as:

    * Changed from Jamex Springs to King Springs (stiffer)
    * Installed polyurethane rear swaybar bushes
    * Installed a complete set of OEM floor mats
    * Installed brand spanking new BZ Touring headlights + corner lights (genuine Toyota)
    * Installed 8mm rear wheel spacers

So nothing overly exciting, but things are definitely still being done :)

Yeah the wagon face is the very bottom one. I should be able to track you down the red C grille. It only came on the AE92 SE Limited models, so a bit tricky to find, but I should be able to get one.

SEE I TOLD YOU YOUR LIGHTS WERE YELLOWING!!!!

haha actually I did notice your lights looked extra clear (on the other forum) so I was hoping to see you had buffed them, but you just replaced them instead lol (that's what I'd do, sanding head lights never made sense to me).

Haha, yes yes yes, I know, I know :p :p :p. I always knew that they were a bit yellowy, even when I originally bought them secondhand, but I never knew how much of a difference there was compared to the brand new ones. I was going to sand them but decided to just bite the bullet and buy brand new ones. They weren't cheap but the pleasure I get every time I look at them now is priceless, haha. I also bought some genuine Toyota clip-on headlight protectors at the same time, so when I go out of town (about once every week) I won't get any stones flicked up at them at highway speeds. Literally only takes a matter of seconds to clip them on and off, so it's very convenient :)

    Will do man ;)

Yeah I took some photos of them on my phone just for the hell of it when I installed them after fitting the headlights. Had a feeling the photos would come in handy at some point, lol:

lol, well you should have known I'd want to see them! But they do look incredible.... so nice and clear. You could get away with leaving them on all the time.

I bought and installed a new radiator today as I discovered a hairline crack in the top tank of the original copper radiator which was causing the coolant to dribble out and spray all around my engine bay.

I was thinking about going for a brand new aftermarket copper radiator, but for a similar price I managed to find a full alloy radiator and luckily snapped up the last one they had in stock. It's more than double the thickness of the original copper radiator and looks a lot better too :)

Spoiled the Corolla a little today:

    * Bought a full set of AE101 Cusco coilovers. Cleaned them today, will fit them in the next few days.

    * Changed to the facelift JDM tail lights and garnish because I got sick of my pre-facelift JDM ones. Had some in a little while ago but didn't really like the look, however now that I have a rear lip fitted it looks much better.

    * Fitted some 7mm Ultra Power silicone spark plug wires (made in Japan). Didn't have a chance to clean them before taking the photos.

The taillights are cool, it'll take a while to get used to those, and hey man your spark plug wires are dirty.
