Bumping this for progress. So before we get to updates on this:

    Let's talk about this:
My 2001 Avalon i picked up 6 mos ago with 96K on it (102K on it now)
First Thing i did was add a Strut bar from a first gen solara that i've had sitting around my basement collecting dust. Next was the Weapon-R intake
    [IMG]
Well Obviously Steelies were not staying so I got some 15" Kosei wheels and tires sized 225/60/15 from a friend in MD. they weigh about 12 pounds (wheel + tire) a piece.
    Next came the Aeroturbine Exhaust
    [IMG]
Exhaust clip (usually pops and crackles alot more)

    Then came the low.....
Picked up Dropzone's for 70 shipped to my door. too bad only the fronts worked.
    Before:
    After
    [IMG]
Week later picked up Tein S-tech rears for 60 bucks
    [IMG]
    Low enough?
And just this past saturday i Installed a 20MM Whiteline RSB on this thing.

    And thats that...

Back to the Lexus, The last time i posted on it i said i needed a new drivers side control arm. well here's what came off:
YEA....... Still need to do the other side. Havent done it yet because i blew a ball joint out (boot bursted) and in the process of fixing had to get a new axle. Also saturday i installed my Ultra Racing RSB thats been sitting in my closet for 11 months lol. Cant believe i waited this long. they make such a big difference.

    So whats next:
    Avalon
    Foglights
    HID's
    Tint
    Boost?

    ES300
    Repair rust
    Fix wiring
Drive this bitch till it dies again!

That's the first Avalon I've ever seen with springs and a muffler lol. That's pretty cool, I totally wouldn't expect that sound out of it!

Are there any lip kits available for the ES?

I'm sure there's something somewhere. I prefer the clean look cause I know a front lip is gonna scrape.

Avalon 0-80 (before i made an adjustment to the Transmission)

    (lexus on my favorite backroads)

Note: the Secondaries in these cars kick-in around 4000rpms (will hear in the lexus not so much in the avalon) and i do short shift the lexus. damn thing revs out to 7000rpms but doesnt have the cam profile to do it.

Its the middle of August already and not a lot has happened. Well except this.
Fogs were used Toyota units I got off eBay for 100 shipped. And they bolt right into the car but that's only the pregame. This car comes with a connector on the drivers side for the foglight, no relay for the fogs, and no toggle switch. So after 3 junkyard trips, a decent amount of wiring and some trial and error, I have a car that wasnt designed to have working fog lights now that are working and the car looks so much cleaner.

Well your not gonna like what I have to say next: lexus popped its Headgaskets Tuesday. Coolant isn't mixing with the oil but it's getting in the combustion area. It's misfiring it's ass off and ran quite a bit warmer then it's normally used to.

On another note the Avalon ran 16.2 in the 1/4 mile.
