    Intro:
As some of you may or may not know I received a complimentary set of tires, a new tire released by Nitto called the Motivo. I signed up for this back when I was getting the IS300 and was approved several months later after already owning the BMW.

    Rating:
    9/10
I give it a 9/10 because it satisfies me in every way for my car that is driven aggressively and sees track days maybe once every over month. It would be a 10/10 if they made the Motivo in the size I wanted (215/35/18)

    Pros:
Much quieter ride than my old tires. They look great and somehow manage to stay shiny unlike any tire I've ever had. I have track coilovers that are stiff and the tires brought back some comfort into my ride.

    Cons:
Not made in the size I really wanted, not a big con though.

    Overall Impressions:
The following is all before 1000mi: These are great tires honestly, they out preform any of the average customer tires I've ever owned easily (Falken, Kumho). Mounting was incredibly easy and the shop guys even said they've never seen these tires before but that they looked extremely good and wondered if I spent thousands on them. The ride in my lowered car is very much improved and is also much more quiet. If I ever have to purchase tires for any other vehicle I'll be looking out for the Nitto Motivo from now on. If I had to compare the ride comfort to another popular tire it would be Hankook.

1000mi-2000mi: Made a 500 mile trip to California. WOW. I couldn't imagine making that trip on my old set of tires and at my current ride height. Comfort is still superb. I recommend these to anyone who lowers their car and wants a stiff but semi-comfortable ride. They're also still quiet unlike other tires that make loud noises for every crack in the road.

    Will update upon further mileage.

While I have not used these specific tires, I had the Nitto Neogens on the rolla and now the Nitto 555s on the IS300. I won't hesitate to buy them again and again. Nitto FTW.

Falken 912s on the rolla, best tires I've bought, from a performance standpoint, and is basically pointless to this thread, but everyone else was posting their tires. I'll check these out on my next ride, the ********* muahahahahahah

yeah lol. i got the rims off craigslist and the guy used them for dragracing so i needed a pair of tires for the front STAT. Went to the local mobil station and thats all they had in the tire size i needed...i couldn't wait for them to arrive from a online distributor.

Lol... You should put them up front since they grip better. After all, the front wheels power the car, steer, and do like 70% of the braking. You want the best grip possible.
