The only JDM one you'll see is Scott's and he only posts in his thread and then copy/pastes into the 7th gen thread.

Tein S-techs are always a favorite, and most lowered members here has (or had) them, including myself. They lower the car the most, and are the best quality and ride quality IMO

S-Techs dont drop enough imo. If i could go back to the future i'd get coilovers and slam this car to the ground

What I find funny, is that every time I go lower, I look back and think how did I ever think that height looked good lol? First the stock Corolla, then lowered on S-techs, then the stock IS300, then the springs, then the coilovers. Lower every time LOL. So, I agree with Roach (and those members who used cut s-techs) that lower is better. Coilovers are where it's at, if you can save a grand.

I was wondering why you wrote that, but it seemed to make enough sense that I thought I was the one with the problem lol.

When are you going to realize you wrote "if" instead of "I"?

You should buy my s-techs and tokico setup, the ride would be much smother than coils.

Yeah s-techs would be smoother than those but not like ksports or anything like that.

ksports feel smoother than a spring/strut setup?

Coilovers essentially ARE a spring/strut setup, only a good set of coilovers are built so that the spring and shock are completely compatible and give a desired ride feeling. When using lowering springs, there are no shocks developed to be used with that specific spring, but rather, all shocks are designed with stock springs. So, if you buy good coilovers, you are guaranteed to have an engineered setup. But using shocks and springs? Who knows what will happen.
