    from what I know, megan parts are cheaper... and therefore popular on Civics. Their headers tend to be cheap and raspy, tinny, metally sounding.

    Oh gawd no more check engine lights:mad:. Are there any aftermarket headers worth getting? Are Celica headers any better and would they fit?

    Iv heard OBX is crap, like shitty welds and gaping leaks and the like.

    I wish there was a better close up on the megan collector. The OBX collector looks quite restrictive still. I think that at the stage of adding a header, the car should be tuned for AFR and timing as well. You should have a wideband also by this point and can place the sensor further downstream so you're not just tuning cylinder #3, lol.

    Back from the dead. I'ma order this header. Looks much better than the OBX. You're worried about the o2 location? Buy a bung for $5 and have an exhaust shop weld it in for $20 downstream

    The o2 location is fine. Milky runs one of these headers and doesn't have a problem with it. Also the reason i would get this over the OBX is because of the longer runners which helps with mid range and top end

    Perhaps you could use this header and weld on a 2zz flange on it. That's the biggest hurdle on doing the 2zz swap

    Yea i was thinking about doing that actually, i know mwr sells the mr2 swap header and that actually will work, but its a 500+.

    Yeah that too. But on top of the $500 swap header. You'd have to source and buy the downpipe. Then modify the down pipe to fit through the tunnel. Either way will work. But that's too expensive.

    You also have to decide if you want a 4-2-1 header or 4-1 header

    Yea thats true, I would have to source a downpipe for the mwr one. On the other hand the ppe mr2 swap header is a one piece design that you would just have to weld up your exhaust to, but that header is more expensive.

    You are right though, either way will work.
