Hmm, yeah I didn't think of getting a junk hood for the job. That makes a lot more sense. But I can say from personal experience that the hood can't fit inside the car.

its just called the g tech lip. its not that hard to find. and sometimes its not even posted on ebay. you'll just have to wait till he puts the add up. I hate it when that happens cuz the first time I went to buy it, he didnt have it posted on. Anyways, I have a question. I just bought the o6 matrix manifold it says it that same thing for an 03 corolla. Is that the same thing as the celicas intake manifold you have?lol

yea i know. But there are like 3 different sellers on ebay selling it. and nah man that wont work. you need the 03-05 corolla/matrix or the 00-03 celica one. Those are the ones thats dbc

the guy says its an 05-08 matrix intake manifold and I have an 03 corolla throttle body. The intake manifold came up in my search for intake manifolds for the 03 corolla intake manifold so hopefully its the right one. it looks exactly like the one from the 03 corolla....

They look the same except for where the throttle body bolts up to the manifold. Since one is used for the drive by wire throttle body and one for the drive by cable throttle body. did you get a part number or ask the guy the exact year matrix it came from?

The pic didn't show up for me. But it can work, just that it will take more modification. I can send you to a link to a guy on TN who bought the dbw manifold by mistake and made it work, and hes auto like you.
