    I saw the first ever little VW 4 door hatch that was baby blue with crazy camber and probably qualified for hella flush driving around my area with a rusted hood. Gotta say it was quite unique.

    Found this;

    use aircraft stripper to get the paint off. then once the paint is off, douse it with bleach. let it sit outside for three days, and you will have nice uniform rust.

    Also says you can use vinegar to speed up the process.
    I would just find an old junkyard good and try it, couldent hurt.

    Someone really hates the ricer rusty hood fad. :rolleyes: But go ahead if you want, at least you've got the supporting mods for it.
    Or you can get rust vinyl wrap and do it that way... to match the deflector wood vinyl lol.

    I think the vinyl wrap would be too much work when he can just go to a junkyard and get one for a few bucks and swap out as he wants rather than deal with vinyl. Only problem is transporting the hood.. i've never tried putting a hood in my corolla but i dont think it will fit unless he drives down there without a hood in the first place lol.
