    A bigger difference that I see in the bars is that the celica one hummer posted, the point where it mounts to the strut tower goes around the back of the tower to the outside, and scott's comes inside and goes to the front bolt. like-a-dis:

    Anyone can get a TRD strut bar... they started making them again for the corolla, thats why I sold mine before people realized.

    As previously mentioned, the TRD bar is a totally different design to the OEM one. Personally I like the design of the OEM one over the 2-point TRD one since it bolts to the firewall, but the choice is yours. 3-point TRD --> 2-point OEM --> 2-point TRD, in my opinion.

    Yep, the 3-point TRD brace like mine. Just a shame that they're impossible to find these days and difficult to ship. Just a heads up though, Ultra Racing do a 3-point version in white, but I'm not sure what the availability of their products is in the US. Doesn't look anywhere near as good as the TRD one, but the concept is the same.

    Yeah, the one you have... cause it's technically "3-point" with or without the straight brace over the engine... or are you calling that 2-point.

    I call my TRD triangular brace 3-point and the OEM brace 2-point because I only count the sides. Some people would class my TRD one as 4-point and the OEM one as 3-point though. Gets a little confusing, lol.

    Ah, yeah I was thinking of "points" as mounting locations.... so 2 would be the strut towers and 3 would be that plus the firewall.

    I used to originally call it 3-point, but then wasn't sure what it was 'officially' classified as so started calling it 2-point to avoid any confusion, haha. But yeah, we'll go with 3-point just for the hell of it :D

    Here's one fitted to a 7th Gen with a 3S-GTE engine. If it's good enough for that it's good enough for anything ;)

    Thanks mate. Haha, I've been wanting to take photos at that location for quite some time so it was good to finally be able to do it. Hmm, it must just be the light/reflection on the headlights. They don't look like that in real-life. Admittedly they're not as clear as brand new ones would be, but they certainly haven't gone yellow just yet. I polished them just a few days ago :cool:

    Yeah, they aren't yellow... but you know me, I spot these things a mile away LOLz. It's just especially noticeable to me in that pic, I've seen it before but I'm not gonna make a big deal about it, you know? But the corner lights still look 100%....

    Haha, I think we should swap usernames :p. You certainly have sharp eyes. I actually priced up a new pair from Toyota a couple of weeks back. Expensive to say the least, but wouldn't mind getting some brand new ones :)
