Yeah those TRD strut tower bars are extremely hard to find. They were discontinued by Toyota years ago so you can't buy them brand new anymore unfortunately. I can get you an OEM 2-point one, but the TRD 3-point one is virtually impossible to find these days.

The 2-point one I'm talking about is the OEM Toyota one that came on the Ae101 Corolla GT etc, not the TRD brace. The TRD one goes from strut tower to strut tower, whereas the OEM one goes from strut tower to firewall to strut tower, which is a much more rigid design in my opinion.

That strut bar? It will NOT fit.. dude those are the same ones as the celicas, i've tired. Unless you guys are talking about something else.

No that strut bar will not fit no matter what you do, its too wide and the holes dont match up. I had a picture of me jerry-rigging it onto my corolla though.

The strut bar WILL fit the 8th gens. It is different to the Celica one. The design looks the same but it is a different fitment than the Celica. I can assure you that it does fit. The AE101 (7 gen), AE110 (7.5 gen) and AE111 (8 gen) strut bars are all the same.

I really doubt this, I have never seen a celica style strut bar (like yours) mount up to an 8th gen. Got any pics? If mack does some searching which he apparently is so good at, you will find that strut bar on my car not fitting. But if you say its a different strut bar from the celicas, I believe you

You have my word that the bar fits an 8th gen. The Celica ones don't fit at all, as you know, but the ones I sell do. The AE111 Corolla GT (4A-GE 20v Blacktop) uses the identical bar to the AE101 Corolla GT (4A-GE 20v Silvertop). They are 100% interchangeable. In fact, I test fitted the bar on my Dad's old AE110 Sprinter (5A-FE) and it was a direct fit also, and still had the indentations in the firewall that was put there from factory. All three generations are the same . Even the AE101 Levins/Truenos and AE101 Marinos/Ceres use the exact same bar.

Huh? Who's old one? Isn't the whole point in him buying a bar because he doesn't have one right now?

Here's a perfect comparison between the Corolla bar and the Celica bar: In your photo, look at the centre of the bar where it bolts to the firewall, and compare it to the centre of the one in my photo. As you can see, the bolt holes are much further apart on the Corolla one. The Celica and Corolla do not use the same strut brace, I don't know how I can make it any clearer. The 7th Gen strut brace will fit the 8th Gen and vice versa, end of story
