    in california we have strict laws about modifying engines...

    1st being that any modification to your car is technically illegal and they can right you a ticket no matter what aftermarket intake you have.

    the 2nd, is emissions. In California, your intake must be CARB certified (K&N) and have the sticker saying so...otherwise you will fail inspection...and can be ticketed for that. Some other states may operate like this as well, but to my knowledge, CA is the only one.

    I can definitely see the youtube video now..... me leaning over the car with the camera, then the ladder slipping and me falling hard into the roof, the camera shakes as my cursing is drowned out by hummer's laughter
