about the pump ... is there a regulator in the tank that maintains pressure? and if it does, is it always the same throughout the rpm band or does it change?

speaking of tuning, i know honda guys just run a 3 bar MAP sensor and bigger injectors and their car runs without any SAFC/E-Manage adjustments(this just scales the fuel maps). after this mod, they only had to adjust the pulsewidth by about 5% to get a perfect tune - so this gets you within 5%. without an e-manage. is this possible on a corolla? i'm not suggesting i'm going to run this setup, but it would be good for people on a budget i think.

well according to vamps DIY you can either use a supra fuel pump or use the walbro...so yeah thats why I"m asking......I'm trying to find a straight bolt on..

FMU's are a pain to tune with. As for the stock regulator, it's in the pump housing and keeps a constant pressure no matter what the RPMs are. If you want a straight bolt on, you're not going to find one without doing a little bit of modifying. monkeywrenchracing.com has a pump that requires minimal cutting of the fuel pump housing to make it fit.

No. Still waiting on fucking parts from Samco. I have all my welding connections set up, but I can't do anything without my custom silicone couplers.

It must be nice to have been able to keep your a/c! I had to uninstall mine for more room. It really sucks, especially in this summer heat. Nice set up though! As far as 1ZZ-FE Turbo'ed dyno results. A local friend of mine(Manual) is sitting on 230whp at 8-10lbs.

Damn I would love to have 200+hp in my 01 rolla. I would pay 3 - 4k to make it happen too if there was just a kit. I can't afford to have my car offline for weeks while I build and tune a turbo. I just want to install it and go. I've also been thinking about buying a built motor from MWR. They claim there N/A 8:1 big bore engines make 150 - 180 WHP without any boost.

That sounds a bit high..the last time I emailed Matt about it, he said I'd have similar horsepower and slightly more torque running big bore 8:1 vs my current (stock) 10:1 @ 1.8l.

My manual is posted all over the internet... lol...

But here it is anyway: http://www.ginetx.net/~tsarbin/corolla/emanage-install-98-up-corolla.pdf

As for the maps. I'll pull the current one off my laptop tonight.

Here's a couple things you're going to have to note:

    1) The new map is from the LATEST software. That is 1.25 Laptop Software & 1.47 eManage firmware. If you are *not* running this, please download the updates. (http://www.mohdparts.com/emanage/pc/blue/e-manage125.zip)

    2) You will more than likely want to dyno tune this. This one is only a street map and it is also at 6000 ft. It should run just fine, but tuning is recommended to better match your environment.

well I have the Profec E01 so I'm not gonna need any software.......well according to the pple who sell it, they say you can either program the emanage with the software or use the Profec E01......

You're going to need a laptop and the current support tool software to load this map. you *CANNOT* load this map using the E-01 - however once its loaded you can follow the instructions, link you E-01 to the eManage and tweak the map as needed. Before I go posting this thing up - do you have access to a laptop with the support tool? perhaps from the place you bought your eManage?

awwwwww.......damn dude...I took that support stuff back because they said i could program the emanage using the Profec.....couldn't i just input the data again or something????????? cuz i don't wanna go spend another $120 for that support tool....do you think there's another way???? If there's not then I'll just go buy the support tools.....well let me know what you come up with and I'll go with it.....thanks

uhhh to xlate the maps into xcel or word would take me almost as long as it would take you to manually input. sorry man, i don't have 4-5 days to do that.

well guys after so long i got some off the manifold done, we called so many places and went to so many places where the would qoute $200usd for a flange !!! could you believe that. Anyway we finally got the flanges. the intercooler piping is almost done (it was done but jtweezy kinda wrecked. i bought some extra flanges for the corolla, well just one i will be doing another exhaust manifold, its made out of 304 polished stainless steel, wiht 1/2" flanges im selling it for $400 if anyone is interested you guys can pm or shoot me an email to eloyshick@hotmail.com in case you want the downpipe too let me know, we can deal something out, if you want the whole kit let me know too we will work something out. i need to know before next week, that when i start on jweetzys car, if someone later on wants a t-kit let me know, you might have to drive down here so i can do it for you. mmand if you want pics let me know, its cause i dont know how to upload them to the forum LOL!!
