Fifth gear is quiet as hell anyways... when i accelerate with my completely stock motor and exhaust first gear and second gear sometimes third are pretty loud.. i get head turns when i drive by the poor people waiting for the bus. Which is odd for a stock car to be so loud.

I listened to the difference a SRI makes on my car and its crazy, roars like a lion. I guess the resonator acts like a silencer on an exhaust.

While the SRi is good, The IM/TB changes everything (power aside). The harmonics sound insane and at some point i thought i gained VVT-i. Some pitches hit loud and hard at certain rpms (usually the higher ones)

Yeah like I said, a good intake is the best mod period in terms of cost, ease of installation, and sound/performance

    mmm, smells like pizza :)

but seriously dude, you really gotta do everyone a favor and readjust that fog light! haha, it's pointing straight into oncoming faces. Boy, not much I hate more at night than universal autozone fog lights aimed at the sky hahaha

Anyways, what was the difference that you made? The car seems to have a very good response and pickup. Love it. That's the downside with my car, it moves, feels, responds like a big slug.

Trust me i've tried adjusting the lights. they just end up in the same spot because of how they're mounted. and on the induction i remembered a video on youtube of a guy with the intake on his civic in the cabin of the car. well i'm not doing anything that crazy but i did do something similar with what i was running.

what you see here gives you that sound in the most recent video. i doubt this is any louder to passer bys but in car sound is incredible.

Well now, that's a really interesting filter location! I like it. Solves the problem of the retarded location of the SRI filter location. I know you don't care, but you could shorten that flextube and get a more direct airflow... or use real aluminum pipes. Is that sucking air over from over the wheel? Hopefully your mesh screen keeps out all the mud and stuff from the wheel.

In that area there's a small pocket away from dirt and grit. its cool because they're no heat sources and like mack said my wheels arent in the engine bay but even if they were, i have my splash guards in place.

Did you tighten your throttle cable? Did it on my corolla and it helped. Check for slack in the wire.

I did this actually on both cars. But they were already pretty tight.
On the Lex, there's actually a spring on the throttle pedal that has to fully compress before the throttle cable is pulled. That's a 10mm gap. So I put a spacer in there for immediate response. That helped a ton. The intake and exhaust helped as well. But my blown shocks aren't helping anything.. can't wait for the coilovers to arrive.

The one starting with "I did this to both cars." You can see it says in between there, 'added on'.
