I can't imagine that there's THAT much pressure held up in the bumper lol. NASCAR or other racing doesn't have it, never seen it in D1 either, granted F1 doesn't have bumpers, but still. I've only seen it on autocross and wannabe racers. My opinion. We all know you got this guy's back so no need to say it again. lol

wannabe racers.... yeah that's a good way to put it. In my very humble opinion, anyone who is racing around in a stock-engine Corolla with no real engine HP upgrades (exhaust, bumper holes, tow hooks do not count) is a wannabe racer. But there's nothing wrong with being a wannabe racer and having fun! lol. Just saying

Civic drivers will do anything to squeeze out a little hp out of them, just like corolla owners. Only difference is civic drivers go a little more extreme.

I just wish there were a wider variety of parts I could choose from. (aftermarket camshaft, pistons, rods, ect) you know, the usual stuff to build a motor. I'm still not sure if PSI used any after market pistons or anything of the sort. I know they must have used different pistons to make my motor to a 1.9 but the list of parts I saw said they were all oem, besides burning my ECU with Chrome, (which im currently reading up on and finding out its pretty decent). I guess I can never stress how important tuning is.

The only problem I have with this is that Crome is a software for OBD1 cars. I mean it can work on OBD-II cars but you would would need a conversion wiring harness. And most of the time, I want to say always its used to tune Hondas, so idk how they got it to work for your car. As far aftermarket parts goes, do I vvti head swap, and you will be able to cams and all that

I wan't necessarily calling the dude with the CF trunk (which I def. want by the way) a wannabe racer, if he goes to an actual track with a suit and helmet and has fun, well damn good for him, that's racing to me. I'm talking about the guys with an Integra (naturally with the aforementioned JDM bumper mod yo) with a muffler who suddenly think they are the fastest thing on 4 wheels. That would be like me wanting to race everyone just because my car is so LOUD. Noise from a shiny muffler =/= speed. You don't have to have a fast car to be a racer, when I go to Laguna Seca, there are Civics, Accords, Celicas (the old bug-eye ones) and even a 6th gen Corolla once. Makes it fun to break from the monotony (sp?) of the usual Corvettes, Vipers, Evos, STIs, et cetera.

Everytime you bash on a honda you sound like a whiny butt hurt bitch. Every comment about hondas ends with "honda boy," or some corny jdm mad yo comment. Sad fact that half those riced out civics that have a stock vtec motor will blow you out of the water 9 out of 10 times. While thyre styling choices are poor the design of those motors blows any corolla pre-XRS motor out of the water.

When have I ever complained that my car is slow? Never. When have I claimed to be faster than a Honda (of any origin)? Never. When have I claimed that I even try to race anything? Never. Making a joke (that most people laugh at) about Hondas doesn't make me a "whiny butt hurt bitch". I state my opinion about the mods that people to do their cars, and will continue to do so. You're the one who is all defensive over Hondas ever since you got your parent's car. You didn't like it when I started calling you hondaboy, you REALLY complained when gold94 and press started doing it, and any time someone now mentions something in poor taste that someone has done to anything with an "H" on the trunk, YOU have turned into a little bitch. So why don't you relax and remember you're on the INTERNET. And it's not a "sad fact" that a vtec motor is faster than a Corolla motor, it's just a fact. I've never tried to say that my Corolla engine is even modded enough to be a "race motor", or anything. It's an economy car, first and foremost. A civic has almost always been supported by the aftermarket to improve on the performance of the vtec motor. Your "argument" is like bitching about how "It's a sad fact that you don't seem to realize that the 4.5 liter V8 in the Ferrari 458 Italia is faster than the V6 in your Camry, lulz." No shit, it's not even in the same category, you are stating the obvious to prove a "point" about something which I have never even brought up in the first place. We get that you're a dick and you like to start shit, but seriously, either relax or go the Honda forums where you say everyone is so nice and helpful or whatever. You don't even have a Toyota. And since you seem to have this idea that I think I'm faster than any Honda out there, I might as well make this known right now, and for the first time: the only car I have lost to in a "race" whether it be from one light to the next, or one exit to the next on the freeway, or those events held by the police department to reduce illegal racing by holding races in stadium parking lots, the only car that has beaten me was a V6 Solara on the juice. So there's your 9 times out of 10, it's more like 1 out of 15 or so that are faster. Unless anyone else on here will back you up and say that I'm a little bitch, you're way outta line on that one.

I only read the first part cause im too lazy to finish reading and i can tell after the first few paragraphs you didnt read my post where no where did i imply that you said your car was slow nor faster than any honda. You then somehow managed to bring ferraris into conversation further down the page in an attempt to compare COROLLAS and CIVICS to?

Done reading, nice blow up, you can tell your very emotional when it comes to the corolla. I never bitched about the "honda boy" thing just thought it was funny especially when others were using it. Half the people on here dont own TOYOTAS anyways so if your gonna banzor me for that, cool beans. I pass my Toyota knowlegde onto others that post on here. So chill your panties down. I'm just saying you go too far with the honda jokes in EVERY SINGLE post about them.

Read the red font in your posts. Saying that a honda is faster than a toyota is the same thing as saying a toyota is slower than a honda, so yes, you did. But as is typical of you, whenever someone makes a point that proves you wrong, you close up and don't read what people post. So once again, if you're too lazy to read anything on here, just leave. You post NOTHING of value to Toyota anymore (and before you jump in, I know that 98 percent of this forum is garbage, but we've been trying to clean it up, and we have been helping a few people). Everything you say is negative, or about hondas, which except for the dude with the red rolla and the si, nobody on here really cares about. Your car is cool, and new, and faster than a 13 year old corolla, but other than you updating your thread about what you do to it, I personally am tired of you bashing all of us now that you have a honda. It's really annoying.

Edit: I see that you said you never implied that I said my car was slow, not that you implied my car was slow, so I read that wrong, but you still have no need to say that a honda is faster than a toyota. that point still stands, along with almost none of your argument. There were just too many "you said I said you said there was" in a row there.

Still doesn't mean you have to talk your shit to all of us on here, does it? It's valid if you actually read it, which you already said you weren't gonna do. So as you said earlier, /thread. You don't get what I'm saying, because you don't read it, or whatever, you play games with semantics to keep altering what you say, and I just don't really care what you say when it's only negative. When you have something productive or amusing to say (which we know you are capable of both), I'll respond to it, otherwise I'll just ignore it. You might as well do the same for me.

Actually Crome (idkwtflol?) is used to tune quite a few cars. It really depends who works on your car because as far as I knew, I didn't think my ecu was possible to tune. I really should go to PSI and ask them whats up.

This would be true if there werent any increased results in power. But for how obnoxious it is to you that I have 160 at the wheels I bet I dont even have a 1zz under the hood anymore. I bet you its 5.7L V8! because clearly its impossible to do that with a one 1zz.

Ok heres the deal... you spent 2 grand on all this "HP" but some months ago on the free way and back roads by the airport when we were driving around and trying to race each other the two times we ever did that, I pulled on you by half a cars length. So either you really did get a $2000 oil change, or someone stole my car, "tuned" it, put performance cams and piston in it and returned it to me. Now watch you say, " i wasent even trying." If that's the case then your car wouldent sound like a roaring dinosaur 24/7. So my "obnoxiousness," is justified.
    Added: Oct 22, 2011 11:07 PM
And thats not saying anything in regards to YOUR car personally dude, its a FACT.
Every post of yours in regards to a civic has one of your ghetto "jdm yo tight honda boy" comments in it. I never talk shit about your corolla. The one time i state the fact that honda has performance engines going far as back as 99 when corolla motors just stayed the same you freak out and have your panties all in a knot. All I was saying was that no matter how riced out their cars look they are still pretty quick. I never finished reading your post because im at work and i deal with whiny bitches all day, that and the fact that you wrote an autobiography about how butt hurt you are, so wipe your tears and be a big boy.

Show me one post where I have directly insulted you, your car or any other member. Other than stating a fact, which if you cant handle, get the fuck out of the forum. I see both sides of the spectrum on the honda vs toyota. Youre just a stuck up toyota fanboy. Roach comes in my thread and tells me the hood tilts 90 degrees so it can lift off and i laugh it off like a joke, you on the other hand...

Yeah and they don't come here anymore. All the regularly posting members drive Toyotas. Me, CorollaGT, roach, SIEGE, press, gold94 (to me, a Lexus is a Toyota), cbass, 1124RN, that dude who got the honda but is keeping the rolla- gman something, and a few I'm forgetting I'm sure. Show me 1 member who posts that doesn't have a Toyota that they currently drive, to prove why you have a good reason to be here. Being a dick is not a good reason. And you are always telling people not to waste their money on the Corolla, because it's still a Corolla. You very rarely post anything of value. So yes, cool beans indeed.

I look forward to hearing how this isn't insulting people though. I love reading fiction. I can do a more thorough search if you'd like more examples. I can get some posts where you pass off your opinion as fact as well, if you'd like.

Exactly..... just what I said... just replace where I said "Corolla" with "Integra" and there you go lol.

Let's not have a car make war.
    Agree to disagree.

Yes Honda drivers, even some of the ones with the n1 mufflers and altezza tails have faster cars than our 1zz toyota.
I don't go to the track but if I were, I'd have just as much fun in my Corolla as anyone in their Honda but come on, we didn't buy a corolla expecting a fast car.

We talk a lot of shit about Honda drivers here but seriously in my complete honesty
a nicely tuned Honda > a nicely tuned Toyota (Not including Supra's or Lexus)

Lets see, the first two are directed at you, because your being a douche. Third one is directed at the seller of a craigslist ad because he has no clue what model his car is AND is not a member on this forum. Number 4 was a genuine joke with the intention of being humorous since me and press are playing forza and your not. So get the stick out of your ass and come back down to earth, your "research" was done very poorly.
And you wanna know one member that dosent own a toyota but still manages to keep coming back here for 3 years after selling it? ItsIkon.

My opinion? My only opinion was well known fact, I and everyone on this forum know that vtec motors are quicker than the corolla motors so what opinion is that? Do you need a lesson in opinion vs fact? THAT was the only "issue".
