yeah the invader hood works great fo that and looks sweet. You still have it on? How's it gonna look with the flat black paintjob, being shiney and all.

The hood is painted as well... it's actually the reason I'm painting the car. There was a gigantic scratch in the hood, and since you can't repair carbon fiber and make it look the same, I'm going to fill in the scratch and paint it over.

ah yeah, that's what I was thinking you should do so that it all matches. Which is cool since you'll still have the scoop vent thing to let everyone know you've still got the CF hood.

Yeah, funny story. I blew the motor, traded it in blown and got the truck. About 6 months later, I saw it. Flagged down the dude driving it. Dealership I traded it at, pulled the 3800 series out and dropped the LS1 and 6 speed out of a Trans-Am in it. Oh I was jealous. They kept all my black badging and the black wheels. Man, I miss that car. Black badges all the way around, polyeurethene fill from rksport for the Pontiac in the back, black wheels, K&N CAI, semi-custom interior. Memories~

Yeah it's gone from "harvesting rainwater" whatever that is, to the lack of mods on here, to the overmodding of toyotanation, to the busy schedules of our mods and the following lack of moderation on these forums, to deciding who should become a mod on here, to how long we've been members, talking about racing Corollas (lol), to the HUGE amount of unnecessary members and 1 posters on the members list, to hummers modding days, to rim painting, to gold's nonbelief in my rim painting, the subsequent ownage of me proving I have done that, to him clarifying it was a misunderstanding, to the crap-talking of my hood tilt mod, to an actual mod coming out of the blue and talking about his wheel painting days on his sweet Firebird, finding your car after getting rid of it and seeing that it's way better than it was when it was yours, to gold's destroyed Corolla, to dead guys in alleys, to good movies, to this becoming the most random thread ever.

I think. It's a few pages, and a lot to remember.
