    You need a paint that stays consistent, either that or your spraying it outside and certain spots are drying quicker and slower than the other areas causing a color scheme.

    I know hummer that was just the first coat, the bumper looks really good now, not patchy at all. The trunk needs a total redo though, it was windy when I was in the middle of it haha. The paint is good though. But I'm not going for a show car here, I don't mind if it looks like it was rattle-canned. And before gold94 comes in and says something, we saw your blue rattle can job, so hush lol

    But seriously, you can do it yourself and it can come out nice. You just need to wetsand it and buff it like crazy to get it all perfectly smooth and even, and it will shine like no other.
