woohoo!!! lol. Thing is, the police pull you over from the back, so they'd never see the front plate unless you're just really unlucky.

I don't think they'll ever stop you for not having it but if you do get pulled over they might pin that on you as well as whatever you got pulled over for.

You can definitely get pulled over for not having a license plate on the front, yes I have been the victim of such a pull over. They usually pass you, flip a bitch and tell you they couldent see your license plate. You can use a one time excuse of "But I just got my bumper painted and havent put on the plate yet," Or "I just got the car back from repair."

Just roll down your windows when you see a cop. That's what I'm gonna do when I tint mine. :)

    no sunroof...it'd be nice though
i hate driving with the windows up b/c it makes me feel confined in my car. thats usually when i get pulled over. black car with black tints --> instant pull-over lol.
I wonder what i can do to plug the holes in the front where the plate screws go in.

You can try getting one of these, looks better in my opinion if license plate is necessary

If you mean to swap intake manifolds? Then it's everything he is giving you intake manifold throttle body and sensors from there all you need is the adaptor

I've been talking to the guy that sells the adapters and he is telling me that with the manifold I wont gain that much hp at all and that I will need to tune my car right away. Is this true?

Does he have any dyno proof of this? Because ofcourse it's obvious you won't gain 30whp from it but you will at the least gain 10whp I'm telling you man that 2zz Mani has fatter runners by a long shot and the throttle body can eat the 1zz one you will see a difference man the 2zz has way better airflow you probably will have to tune it with a vafc(vtec air flow converter) because you will be receiving more airflow ... But I can't confirm since my boys battery gets in the way so we haven't been able to put it on yet we are looking for the right coupler to fit ... And when you get headers you will see a bigger gain I saw a 2 car faster difference when I got my headers on So imagine with the manifold as well and tuned ... you might want to get bigger injectors while your at like 2zz ones or tc ones with that you will need a fpr(fuel pressure regulator) that way you just tune it once

You might as well do an engine swap if your gonna pay 300 for a little throttle body... 600 more will get you a motor. Tuning 1zzfe for the fail.

Why do people keep saying throttle body!!! Lol the adaptor dosent go on the throttle body my boy is throwing in the throttle body and sensors as a extra the intake manifold is what he is buying that the adaptor goes on ... And good luck finding a 2zz for 900 lol then you will need a tranny ecu and harness get the harness redone to fit his 8th gen then buy axels and change up a mount or two ... But if you can find a working 2zz for 900 jump on it for sure

Oh yeah defeintly for $1200 you can get a full swap and just go to a auto parts and buy the passenger mount for 30 bucks civic radiator or 7th gen one and then pay some one to re wire the harness and your good you'll probably spend 2 grand at most with a 8th gen

hahahaha you obliterated hummer. I guess it goes to show that actually doing the work beats just googling something. SK149, i was just verifying the info. 10 hp i guess wont be too bad. I mean, I'll still want the manifold after I turbo so i may as well buy it now and get the turbo later on because I cant afford the turbo now anyways.lol I'll see if I can pool some money together for the manifold and adapter soon then.

Naw I goolged a lot of this before to get to know how to get things done now and spread the word out so everyone can know how easy things are ... And that's perfect that your going boost later most people that do the Mani swap go boost ... Definitely save up for the manifold man

Ok? I'm not even reading this thread all I see is big buck numbers being thrown around and the attempt of adding HP to a 1zzfe.
You can polish a turd but it's still a turd.

I don't think anyone would make and sell the adaptor for that if there wasn't a worthwhile gain to be had. I'm going for this as well.

That completely makes sense. Why would anyone make and sell an electric turbo, the intake tornadoes and body kits that improve horse power if it DIDN'T WORK? Baffling, and also why the shipping is more than the product it self. Could it be because all those items have a giant return rate and shipping is non-refundable?

Ok I see your point but it's not like that is an ebay special that ships out from Istanbul with a guy that doesn't speak English. Seems to be a guy that is interested in improving the performance of the 1ZZ. And yes we all know that is a fail in your eyes. lol

Where did you see anything about shipping? Nobody even posted a link that I know of, and the place I found doesn't list shipping.
