Agreed. My OEM grille has always been my favourite one out of all of them. Definitely won't be swapping them over :)

LMAO......yeah we have TACO BILL but they are hopeless.

My favourite is called Nachos Mexican Cantina, they have a great menu and awesome food. If ever you are down thats the place to go!

I'm sure on a different color car, with a different bumper perhaps, but yours is better with the original. Curious, what is the C for, is it really Corolla? If so that's interesting but cool.

Yep, it really stands for Corolla. It's meant to resemble a crown (hence the 3 X's on the top). Toyota started doing that way back when the first Corollas came out, and continued doing it up to the 8th Gen Corolla, which had a more 'aggressive' looking 'C'. The Sprinters had an 'S' badge on the grille :)

Here's a shot I took about 10-minutes ago. Just happened to walk outside and saw a rainbow (was actually a double rainbow but the second one wouldn't fit in the frame), so ran inside and grabbed my camera. Didn't have enough time to grab my keys, push the button and unfold the mirrors so they're folded in the photo, haha:

Damn dude you have some cool weather over there. Granted I know you edit your photos but still. And cool folding mirrors :)

Haha thanks man. You have my word that the rainbow is 100% legit ;). I didn't do any editing to the photo except for a quick boost of contrast so it doesn't look washed out and then resized it. I had to be quick when taking the photo as the rainbow was quickly disappearing.

Test fitted my front lip today. Needs prep work and painting, but it seems to fit well with no cutting required:

When it's finished are you gonna blend together that center line and make it invisible? Cleaner to me.

Yep, definitely. I'll paint the clip white so that it won't be noticeable :)

    Thanks man! :D

Here's my latest mod that I installed today - An OEM key light. It was a rare factory option. I got it from an AE100 Sprinter, which has the exact same interior as the Corolla. Everything was literally plug-and-play which made the job very simple. It works as soon as the door is opened, and when the door is shut it remains on for about 10-seconds and then dims out.

Haha yeah. I removed the trim around my ashtray once and there was a blue light in there which was quite surprising. Maybe they ran out of the green caps! [IMG]

Nice as always. I see an aftermarket intake on there, but do you have any other performance stuff in your car/engine or do you stick to OEM/TRD?

Cheers. I prefer to stick to OEM/TRD, but as for performance parts I also have a 2" straight through exhaust and Dynomax muffler, bolted to a 4-2-1 header and flexi. The interior is mostly filled with OEM options, with the exception of a Sony head-unit and leather gear shift boot. Speaking of the gear shift boot, here's a photo of it:

Nice. I have a question regarding cameras, my little point and shoot 8 megapixel camera took it's last picture, and I want to get a really nice camera as a replacement, a DSLR of some sort. Any recommendations of brand or model or anything?

I'd recommend going for a Canon DSLR. You can pick them up for a good price these days, especially the older models such as the 1000D (Rebel XS) or the 450D (Rebel XSi). I use a 450D and it's great. The latest models are the 500D (T1i) and 550D (T2i). They're more expensive but they have HD video recording functionality.

I'd like video if I could but it's not a necessity. Any risk in going used or do they still make those older models new?

There's no real risk of buying used unless the camera has been used commercially. The 450D has a shutter life of 150,000, so after 150,000 shots you need to replace the shutter (quite a costly thing to do). The 1000D has a shorter shutter life if I remember correctly. Last time I checked they had discontinued the older models since they brought out the models with video recording, however there may still be stores out there that have some in stock. I bought mine as part of the twin lens kit, which comes with an 18-55mm lens and a 75-300mm lens. It's cheaper if you buy it with only the 18-55mm lens, but the 75-300mm comes in really handy for long distance shots or macro photography.

No problem man. Let me know what you get ;)

Just went and picked this up - An AE101 FX-GT front bumper, complete with the fog lights and turn signals. Won it at auction for a measly $10.50 NZD ($8.60 USD, $8.44 CAD) :D. I had originally decided against getting one, but at a price that cheap it would have been silly not to get it, lol. I'm going to get it painted and will try it on. If I don't like the look I'll just keep it as a spare or sell it :)

Now I know that I'm gonna see this red FX bumper 10 more times today, but I don't mind LOL. Great job Scott, yeah you would have been a fool to pass this up. Even if you bought it only to resell, you can make lots of money on it. And it even has all the lights.
