I just wire them up to existing power sources, haha. My Air Fantasy is tapped into my headunit's wiring, my Air Purifier has it's own plug which was put there from factory, which is also what my electric seat is tapped into :D

So is this your daily driver? I know you said the paint is original (which is insane by the way lol) but that is just way too freakin clean to be driven all the time. Or maybe New Zealand is really clean?

Yep, this is 100% my daily driver :D. I'm just very cautious of the places I drive. For example, I'll avoid all unsealed or freshly resealed roads, but if I have no choice but to go through one then I'll literally drive along it at about 20kph until I get back onto older tarmac again. The funny thing is that in the mornings if there's a little bit of condensation on the car, I'll dry the whole thing down before going out. But by doing that I use a bunch of energy, so by the time I'm ready to leave I'm already knackered [IMG]. I suppose New Zealand is relatively clean, in the sense that there's not much dust or smog in the air, but what it mainly comes down to is constant cleaning :)

Thanks man. I wonder what's next too! [IMG]

Yep, but unfortunately the only thing I'd be able to send is the grille due to size restrictions on NZ Post. I'm really going to knuckle down in the coming weeks and try my best to find a shipping company who will ship items such as bumpers etc for a reasonable price. I got a quote from NZ Post's oversized parcel service a little while ago and they were literally wanting to try and charge me $2400 NZD to send a front bumper to America . I've had quotes from third party companies and they want around $900 to ship a front bumper.

The biggest downside is that I don't know what a bumper weighs exactly. I can get an estimate of the length based on my current bumper, but I'm not sure of the weight unless I actually took my one off. Because of this, it means I have to guess what the weight is in order to obtain a shipping quote. Perhaps I could take some scales into the junkyard sometime.....Anyway, the main goal is to find a company who can provide the shipping that's as cost effective as possible and within a reasonable delivery time frame.

In the meantime I can send smaller things such as grille, headlights, tail lights, steering wheels (non-airbag), interior pieces (except for seats) etc. I'm actually heading to a couple of junkyards today. There was a Sprinter that had come in last Friday which still had a mint grille, so PM me if you're interested and we'll talk prices :)

Bought another electric driver's seat from the junkyard today (out of another SE-G model). The motors in this one seem to be a lot stronger than my current one, so I suspect it hasn't been used much. I'm planning on just swapping over the rails and chucking out the seat. I'll keep the other electric rail for spare parts.

Also bought some other parts at the same time:

Yep, it gets mounted on the roof :). Yeah the clear piece at the front is a large light. Unfortunately it's missing the rear cover and filter as someone got to it before me, but for $10 NZD it was a steal :D

I wish! They're one of the rarest parts to find. They were only available as an optional extra for certain models and cost a lot when they were brand new.

I know i saw, i was thinking how considerate of the thieves to put the car on phone books huh? Most people just drop em on the concrete. I guess thyre that stupid and poor they cant afford a chunk of wood or a phone book... which is FREE.
