Cheers bud. Wouldn't say that I put yours to shame though. I reckon your one looks awesome! Besides, they're two different generations, so technically they're incomparable [IMG]

Thanks man :) anyways heres a little update on things. I love the new steering wheel. All of my friends like it better than my old one both in style and drivability. I've also been really busy with school and work so I haven't been able to do as much as I wanted to do on the forum. What I'm really trying focus in is getting the Ksport coilovers. Until then I wont be posting much. Oh and AMAZING find on the air freshener!!!! woo!! thats soo sick! you should post up more pics of it installed and whatnot. I just want to get a real feel of what it would be like to have one, besides the smell of course.lol like specially the switches on the dash

That's great to hear! When I replaced my wheel with a leather one I found that it was much easier to grip. Not only due to it being leather, but also due to the difference in thickness. Hope you're able to get your coilovers soon :). Cheers for the comment about the air freshener. I've been using it quite a bit lately. Let me know what photos you want to see and I'll take them ;)

I agree! I tend to think that you can somewhat judge a person by the way they look after their car :). Thanks [IMG]

Haha, that's about as low as I'm going ;). I may go for adjustable suspension in the future, but it needs to be certified, so I'd rather do a bunch of other stuff and get everything certified all at the same stuff (most of the other stuff won't need certification, but would look good on the cert plate and there'd be no questions asked by the local 5-0 :D).

Gotta love Japanese optional extras :D. I friend of mine sent me some original 7th Gen Corolla brochures yesterday and there were so many different options available, including an ultra-rare digital dash [IMG]. Don't think I'll ever have a chance of finding one, but I'm certainly going to be keeping my eyes peeled. It was a miracle that I came across an Air Fantasy unit, so I suppose anything is possible :)

Thanks man :). I've seen some really nice Corollas come out of Jamaica. Collecting optional extras has become quite a hobby for me now. I learned today that the Air Fantasy optional extra that I have (posted a few pages back) cost 32,000 Japanese yen back in the day. In today's currency, that would be just over $500 New Zealand dollars, or $390 US dollars. No wonder they're so rare! [IMG]

i need some ideas of what to do to my interior or something. also, how much did you pay for the air fantasy option?

Your wish is my command [IMG]. I'll take some pics this week. I paid $20 NZD for the Air Fantasy :D. In your currency that would be $15 US.

It's funny that you mentioned about dash pics as I actually took this one today after taking photos of the Air Purifier:

As promised, here's some pics of the interior that I took today. The hardest part was setting up the tripod in such a restricted space, but I hope these are what you were after:

I have always found it interesting that on cars that are right hand drive, so many things are switched, but every once in a while you see something that is the same. Like the ignition, we all stick the key to the right of the steering wheel.

Yeah, that's true. One thing I find interesting is that the handbrake on the 7th Gen is on the same side for both the LHD and RHD versions. I think Toyota couldn't be bothered making another centre console section for both markets so they just used the same one for both, lol.

Thanks! The seats are from an AE101 Sprinter GT, which have the exact same seats as the AE101 Corolla GT. Very hard to find these days, but I got lucky at a junkyard one day. I have the door cards too, but still need to get the fabric swapped over by an auto upholsterer.

Here's a better shot of them:

Oh yep, I know the ones. Similar to the AE92 FX-GT seats if I remember correctly.

Thanks Daniel! :D. I love that my seats are nice and dark as it makes the window tint appear even darker. Next step is to get the door cards reupholstered.

Haha, I wish! That's the original 18-year old paint. Thanks mate [IMG]

Bought this for my car today. It's an electric driver's seat from a 7th Gen JDM Corolla SE-G sedan. It was a rare factory option and allows you to adjust the seat to any position with the press of a button. There are two motors - One for the seat rail adjustment position and one for the backrest position:
