it was pretty low in the summer , i think i have a 2 or 2.5 inch tuck in the front, and a inch or flush on the rear.. ive raised because my gf was nagging me for a while so ill post when i can. to answer the paint. its rustoleum metallic pure gold, you can find it at your local home depot for 2.97. yup, home depot. and for my JDM outside cup holder, the one u see right there is 10 bucks :] minus the billiondollar pedo bear sticker on it. but i snagged a gold set (front and rear ) for like 25. also. ebay can be your best friend. haha. BUT other than that i will be parting my exhaust , rears and sideskirts soooon =0 , a shocker i know.

dude taking off the bumper is the easy part.
there are like three bolts right under the hood.
there should be a bolt on each side on the bottom edges of the bumper.
lastly there should be a bolt on each side on the top of the bumper inside on the edge of the wheel well.
if there is anything else attached to you car i suggest just cutting them off because you dont need them.
get used to taking your bumper off cuz ive had to like a million times. i dont remember why but its handy to know how to take your car apart.

and i have some more pictures but im too lazy to post them. will probly post later next week..

Alright i'll post a mini DIY on it. i dont think i'll actually be able to tow the car by that tow hook but it will be pretty solid. the metal in that area of the car is really weak. unless i attach it to the actual bumper it will only end up being for show.

as for the 8.5 swap.. ehh.. i would like to, but i dont wanna spend the money on it. In the end its only a 98 corolla. its nothing special. unless you can suggest a good way to get parts its just not worth it to me. Plus im really interested in those Ksports

Thank ya. I'll probably get the clear corners, I was also thinking of doing something with my tail lights but nothing altezza lookin'. Yes I will definitely drop it and also get the S side skirts and maybe some custom valences for the rear.

i dont suggest smoked tails for legal reasons but i know that you can find some that have the white corners instead of the yellow.. suspension i would try the TEIN s techs. i have them and they work great but im looking into coilovers. IMO: if you think the car is worth it get coilovers instead of springs. if you go cheap you'll end up wasting money. if you dont know where to get the side skirts i know of a couple of guys that are trying to get rid of some.. just post something about it. as for the rear valences you will need big money to get those. expect to spend around 200 to 350 for them. if you know of a way to get them cheaper please let me know

can you take a picture of your car from an angle that shows the mudflaps? I want to see how they look. Saw a Subaru with them and it looked pretty sweet

Well shit... I woke up to this.
The cover for my turn signal is gone... I don't know how it happened but damn what a coincidence lol. Looks like now I have a better reason to get those clears. Yes I was going to go with the S techs and I have a couple of choices for the struts.

As far as the taillights go, I wasn't planning on blacking them out either. I saw another 8th around here with LED tails that looked pretty nice, was thinking of going that route but I've had no luck finding such lights.

    point proven
are you talking about mine?? and if you are i got the idea for them from a subaru too.lol
whats your idea for struts?? i was thinking about tokico blues? and i guarantee you that those LED tails you saw where fabricated. there are no such things as LED tails for corollas on the market.. im thinking about doing this as well... MAYBE.lol i like them stock too.

haha i made these from floor mats from home depot.. cost for the whole project? 10 dollars as opposed to 50+ for the actual subie ones..
They work very well too. i like them.

oh man I was thinking about doing the same if I couldnt find ones I liked. I was going to use either floor mats or a bathtub mat and cut it up, something like that haha.
