how bad is the crossX event for our cars?

yea the car looks more than alright after suffering from frame damage. The car actually feels 95% of what it did before the accident as in barely any different. Still turns in sharp. Theres a minor things on it if you look real upclose that would make you think that it was in some sort of an accident, but overall i did my best to make it look like how it did before

SaberJ, i kinda didnt understand your q

yeah, notice a couple of things being "off" like the left headlight and a little gap between right side fender and bumper. But if it drives alright, then thats all that matters.

Autocrossing is a blast, its really not that hard on cars, after a few events you will find out the weak points on your car. Mine were end links, motor mounts, etc. But the most wear will occur on ur tires, but with performance tires you should be fine for a while. I was on all-seasons for my advanced driving course and my tires were bald at the end of the day, but my summer tires have held up great, i do half of a season then rotate them to finish the season out. And BTW im so jealous of your suspension, im on stock everything but tires and sway bars, so much roll. As far as first timers, make sure to listen on the novice walk(I still go to every one of 'em), and ride with people if you can. I improved so much when i rode with a guy who ran the fastest times of the day.

yea but most people dont notice it till they come up real close
lol i can try, id say drive the car at like 80% first few times to get a feel of the course, i kinda went in faster and wasnt really able to fully understand the turn and how my car would react, hence a lot of understeering. But it was my first time afterall so what would i know lol

yea the course walk, oh boy, so im with the group walkin the course and im like hmm, not too bad, i get in the car and i was lost lol. You reaction time has to be so quick and you gotta know the track, i was wildin out and ended up makin my own course lol
As for my suspension setup, it def helped, i saw a lot of newer cars with much more bodyroll compared to mine so i knew the coilovers def helped

Yeah, its so easy to get lost. If you think about the turn you just made for a split second, how it was good or bad or how it could have been better, then you can easily loose you place on the track. At kilcare speedway they run you through the the same spot 2-4 times and you turn a different way everytime so its very easy to loose track of how many times you went through the center. Someone told me to look at the track and visualize every turn. Once you can track your vehicle through the course try to do it with you eyes shut going over every turn in your mind. If you can do that then you have a much better chance of getting all the way through without getting lost. It doesnt work every time. I still got lost last time on my first run, but it was a very confusing course and only 3 people made it without DNFing on the first try.
