...bars installed today. She sure handles a lot different and that will take some getting used to. As I go around a turn, I can feel the back end wanting to move towards the outside of the curve. It doesn't lose control; it just feels different.

It definitely corners much flatter, though.

Yep it's worth it had mine for 5 year's now. Mine is the Hellwig Sway based out in California and they all do the same thing in Retrospect. Sway bar's usually run between $200-300 which is pretty cheap in my opinion based on the performance gains your getting out of this mod.

One of the biggest drawback on owning a Tundra is the Negative input you get out of the rear Axel. It's ass is not planted on the ground very well on curves. It improves the overall Ability and the handling is vastly improved. Toyota made Sway bar's standard on the Seq and I have to say it should be standard grade on the Tundra but it's not.

Hell with Toyota on the law suit's lately it's no surprise our legal system will be faced with lot's of good and bad law suits .

there have been a shit load of people reporting their hotchkis snapping in the middle of auto-x because they use a hollow build design.

I've only had them one day and only only driven with them for about 40 miles; mostly on Interstate. I'll let you know in a couple weeks.

Paid $298 on line, plus $230 to get them installed.

I don't drive it in competition or anything so I don't push it that hard.

Fitment issues were with Hotchkis, not Whiteline.

Hotchkis sucks, had them on the Corolla till they started cracking about 6 months after I put them on, called Hotchkis got the bums rush from them and went with Whiteline and shipped the old one back to Hotchkis and will never buy from them again.

When you say cracking can you explain where that was found? I Know for the Hellwig sway bars I haven't had any issues to report and i shouldn't they have been making this stuff for decades. Used Hellwig for a few Car's and truck's i've had and nothing but praise for them. For the Tundra it was an easy install that even a simple person can install this in there garage. The performance gains were worth it.

When you guys say hollow your talking about the bar itself. Mine is full steel and I installed them myself 5 year's ago.

There were no fitment problems when they did the install.

What I mean by cracking is I first saw the paint chipping and it had spider cracks in it, I removed it and looked at it closer with a magnifying glass and could see little cracks in the metal which means that it was gonna fail soon. I am pretty hard on my suspension, Auto-X, backroads and just daily driving.

hotchkis have a front/rear combo that are cheaper than an ultra racing front/rear sinc eyoure not going razy with your car.

The fitment issue people are referencing is with the front bar hanging lower than OEM. Some say it may cause you to drag on stuff under the car. How about a photo of how the front bar hangs?

I have had Hotchkis for almost a year now. No problems whatsover, everyone knows Hotchkis is a respectable company that makes respectable products. For the average person, which is 90% of people that buy sway bars, it is overkill for a suspension upgrade. For the racer, your suspension will break like it or not.

That's what racing is about, shit breaks all the time, from axles to pillowball mounts, to control arms and so on.
