My first road rage incident :)

Road Rage a big thing in Australia, and i thought i would tell u my road rage story that happened today. (aussie terms may be used)

So im a pretty angry guy when it comes to things that piss me off easily. I was on my way to work (after being on a break) and i stopped at a servo. work was 15 minutes away, and i was meant to be there in 5. now i was still relaxed, not in a major rush.

Im waiting to pull onto a main road where cars are each coming at an impossible time to pull out (i didnt want to put my foot to the floor due to accelleration pedal issues =/) and some dick, came up behind me in a huge f*&king fourbie and started beeping the sh*t out of me as i was just starting to pull out, i got incredibly enraged and gave him the finger and drove off, he cained it up beside be and turned to me swearing his head off with words that i could clearly see were swear words (f*&k and cnut are easily understandble through lip reading) and giving me the finger with BOTH HANDS! (i was impressed). I in turn started swearing my head off back at him and gave him the finger, we crossed paths on that same road about three times, continuously swearing lol.

I got quite scared when i pulled in behind him at the lights, scared that he would reverse over my little car.

Thats my story, Post YOUR first road rage incidents :)

you need to avoid those type of people, if your so quick to get angry then you shouldn't be driving. learn to control yourself.

I was joking and only toying around with him about losing hair over someone honking a horn at him. Why bother stressing out over such a situation? It's like the guy I saw on Friday causing a scene because he had to wait a couple of minutes on the line for a bank teller.

Just leave those people alone and ignore them. If they want to escalate things, let the police handle them.

I was coming back from Baltimore City after doing a police ride along with my buddy- we were minding our own business on the interstate when a pickup truck with 2 dudes in it cuts us off on purpose and then slows down for no reason. My buddy kept his cool and passed him, and then teh guys did it again. We exited, and they followed, and came up to a stop light. Both guys exited their truck and started walking towards our car. Josh calmly stepped out with his Glock drawn but down at his side, (oh yeah, he was in full police uniform too), and the two douches got the point and quickly turned around and got back in their car.

Idiots....and we have no idea why they were acting that way.

@e_andree he should punched some holes thru them...

no road rages here, that I've caused them...
but people drive like nuts most of the time... you just get used to it.

in another time, I was driving with my ex-friend's wife and some guy just cut her and she want road-rage literally gunning the car... taking curves like pfft, and I had to tell her that I didn't wanted to die so she would calm down...

people usually get road rage at me because im good at either ignoring them or keeping my calm.

nothing seems to get people more upset then when i point and laugh at them for getting so worked up.

Going speed limit also increases your MPG a lot. What do you say to 40 to the gallon? :)

I average 41 on the highway, but on the street, about 23. I get up to speed very quickly.

As do i, especially when turning at the lights, i like to be ages up the road before i see the person that was behind me go around the corner. I get about 10 kilometers if im really lucky to the litre. Can do the math yourself.

I hope that you aren't proud of yourself for your "first road rage incident". Not something to brag about.
