I hate automerged doubleposts. I didn't see the carbon trunk pics until now. Everyone go up a little and look at it.

That's what I want to know as well. What makes this a "race-built" 1ZZ?

Are you saying our engines sound exactly the same with mine at 8000 rpm, and yours at 6000rpm?

What makes any engine race built? Google it. Whatever it tells you, i did, that's why I call it race built.

    whore, :p

I won't give you the benefit of the doubt and try to prove you wrong ....... AGAIN. I will just ignore, it's called google people, use it.

so when are you going to get it painted and some bodywork done on it? In the long run you may look back and ask "WTF was I putting all that money into this car for, when I couldve gotten a newer car for the same cost".

No no no....post up the entire list of what youve done to consider it "race built".

Something looks fishy with that tach in the video. I think its off by 1k-1.5k.
It certainly doesn't sound like your idling at 2k, nor does it sound like its revving to 7900 rpm either...

What engine management were you running again?

 Andree......I already think that right now, but I am not a quitter. I will finish what i started before starting something else, and IMO if i don't i do not deserve another project car.

    Factory ECU.

    1.)I have 3 resonators
2.)90% of the sound you hear is exhaust
3.) The car was running lean, and surely you know what effect that has on engine sound, rpm levels and many many other parts of the car, right?
    4.) P.O.S 3 megapixel Nikon Coolpix Camera.

I may do another one with Walbro 255lph pump, and car fully warmed up.....if my technician says it's ok.

I Googled "race built 1ZZ-FE" and the first one was your car, so obviously you did what Google said. FAIL. :D

I hope your joking about the factory ECU...

I don't know what mine is at, I have no tach. But I know it takes about 5 or 6 minutes to warm up 100% to where the temp gauge is at the middle. Right when it gets there, it idles a lot lower, my guess would be right under 1K. But right when I turn it on, it is running pretty high.
