    Random thought occured to me...

It seems like with all the different cars out there, it seems like it's only a matter of time that designs will soon start being repeated. There are already a couple cars out there that are similar in certain ways. Take for instance, wheel design. The wheel that is on the Corolla's that many of us here on this board drive, is similar to Pontiac's wheel lol.

Well I think I was actually thinking of this one:

Yes that too lol. I knew it would happen eventually, I mean there are only so many designs that can exist.

Yeah, there are a lot of cars looking like other cars..... but the alternative is getting scarier and scarier LOL ... just look at some of those concepts!

Scion Hako, Nissan Nuvu and Honda FC come to mind as butt-ugly concept cars. No thanks, I'll stick with my somewhat boxy Corolla.

Wheel designs will only get repetitive. There's only so many multi-spoke designs.

I have to agree, it does looks pretty sweet in the commercials. But I wouldn't want to buy one, something about telling everyone that I have a Kia bothers me.

Really? I think the Panamera is pretty good looking. Not in pictures though. And it's not really just a 4-door 911. No 911 ever came with a front-mounted V8.

anybody know that the viper was actually designed by panoz sold to ford for production , ford saw it as a non sale risk, then ford sol it to dodge?

did you know that the aw11 was originally supposed to be a lotus , like the very first exige wy back when , then toyota bought the rights to it and then put it in production in less than 6-months?

just thought id put that out there.

Never knew that about the viper that's some really good info and for the aw11 well I didn't know facts but it was apperent that lotus designed it specially how the sw20 looks just like a esprit ... I even confused a esprit for a sw20 from far the other day lol

Well yeah obviously repeating ideas is nothing new lol I think we all know that... I just got to thinking about it that's all. Wasn't trying to say that it's some crazy thing for the 21st century.

There is no originality anymore, it kinda sucks. I will be sticking to my Corolla for a long long time. All these new cars with just repeated designs (exterior/interior) stupid and unnecessary technology just complicate shit lol.

Hmm... The Crossfire and the Vue, never noticed that one before, yeah they're quite similar. It seems a lot of cars have to be ugly these days.
