    Looking for decent seat covers

Hey guys. I want to get some decent seat covers for my car. I don't want to pay $400, but I don't want to get the cheap $40 ones from ebay. I had gotten the cheap ones off ebay for one of my old cars, and I hated it because they never stayed in place. I tried searching the internet for OEM seat covers, but I couldn't find anything. Any recommendations from personal experience? I'm looking to spend $100-150. Oh, and the other thing is that I don't have the 60/40 rear seats, and most of the sets I have found are for the folding rear seats.

    Thanks in advance

Are you saying to get the cheap seat covers and "custom fit" them? Or making my own covers?

How "decent" are we talking here? How much do you want to pay?

Check out my Wet Okoles. They are about as "decent" as you are going to get short of completely re-upholstering the interior. They fit like a glove and are very comfortable.

I paid about $600 for mine. Front and back seats and an inflatable lumbar support for the driver's seat.

I remember your post when you got them, and that was what I remembered when I said I didn't want to pay $400. I think its way too much, because for that I can just get leather Katzkin seat covers and call it a day. Yours look really nice, but its out of my budget.

I would be happy with the canvas OEM style seat covers that I usually see on cars, but I can't find them

Does anyone know if Celica or IS300 seats will fit in an 8th gen? I found someone parting out a Celica (the most recent gen) and I can get the steering wheel and the seats :)

Make sure to take some pics of the sections that you sewed. I'm sure I can find someone to do it for me. If not I can always try the iron on stuff.

    i bought this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/6pc-...ptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

My advice to you is that if your going to do it the cheap way like me don't buy plastic leather they rip very easily. Buy the fabric one-tone color they look decent if you fit it correctly to your seat.

The first thing you want to do is:

    1. Test fit seat cover first
    2. Cut out the loose ends that is hanging out of your seat. (the headrest)
    3. Take the seat cover out and Sew the loose end (from the back)
    4. When your ready to install remember to fit it in very tight (that why you test fit it first)
    5. The seat cover tend to slide from side to side, so what you want to do is tie down every corner of the seat cover tightly.

When you say the plastic leather, do you mean what you have? I think yours is more like neoprene

to tell you the truth those are premium stuff. i've never used premium seat cover before so i don't know. you should ask the seller if he has anymore picture and also if those seat cover fit snug tight. i wouldn't want to mod a expensive seat cover like that and mess it up. you have to decide i can't decide for you.

If I get these, I wouldn't plan on sewing anything. They say that they are custom and will fit snuggly. I already asked if I can get a swatch of the material. If I like it, I'll probably get these, because anything else that I have looked at is over $250.

How much is "alot"? I love the look of that bumper, and it gives me the option of having the foglights from the 8.5 gen without doing a full conversion. I'm sure the bumper is less than the amount of a full conversion, yes?
