Its not a direct bolt on to the cat ??? I wouldnt pay that much for it cause a 8th gen needs the 2 O2 Sensors to be a certain distance no more or less it has to be perfect , Looks like you have to add that Metal mesh that flexes , But good luck with it .. :)

Somewhat. I had a bitch of a time with it. It cracked twice, the downpipe gasket disintegrated, and I ultimately got a flex pipe welded in.

That's your best option. lol There aren't any others unless you want to pay close to 500. You just need to install a flex pipe right away and seal all the leaks.

To find one with the flex part already in it , and it will bolt to your Kat... Ceramic Coated headers is what I have on both my cars and I havent had a problem with them at all ... Plus in a 8th gen the headers are in the back where you have to point them out so to go for show your wasting your money lots of times people see the intake and think its the headers ...LMAO :)

Slight gain throughout. A little more on the top end. A little deeper and smoother exhaust tone. Worth it imo? Not really. You're probably better off port and polishing the stock manifold.

Someone did before and it adds about the same. LOL And for so much less. Plus it's more durable and you don't need a flex pipe. I wished I had done it.

LMAO ... Well some people say they dont feel a thing and if you do that your lying ... All I'm saying is you feel a better responce so you do feel something especailly if your car was real shitty you will feel ...I thought my transmission was slipping but it was the leaky exhaust when I put the header on I was like wow ... plus when I put it on the track I got like 1 sec better ..LMAO :)

What's the reasoning for wrapping the header and exhaust? Wouldn't it insulate it and not let the air escape as quickly, creating more backpressure?

i would coat it but not wrap it,wrapping is useless unless you got good ventilation cooling the header.

Wrapping is the same as coating. Both serve as an insulator to keep exhaust gasses in the tubes hot so that they flow faster and more efficiently. Remember your physics. Molecules are excited and move much more freely when at a high temperature. It is true that coating/wrapping may compromise the structure of the header due to exposure to higher temperatures that it wasn't necessarily designed for. However, the stock header is iron and is strong enough to take a little abuse.
