    rolla's new companion

honestly , this car was a steal for $475 title in hand. its a burgndy 95 prizm lsi , 186,000miles everything still works!!!! cold ass a/c , pwr windows , pwr doorlocks , pwr mirrors , sunroof , cruise , tilt , auto w/ overdrive , ABS..... every bell and whistle with the exception of the drivers crotch vent , and a rear defroster. the interior was neglected , so i gots to do a full detail and shampoo inside.

when the engine decides to go . . . . . considering it has a 7a in it already , im thinking a 7ag20v :D oh yeah just wandering , what color ccc.com stickers should i put on it?

huh? my rolla's been running. . . . . . .you talking about the twincharged project? that one is corolla_tc's car , the white one is mine , the black one is his being twincharged. no leaks , new axles , new tires , new brakes , monroe struts , new o2 sensors .

im getting a code 71 thought thru diagnostics."EGR temp signal too low"

shits crazy that the base price is like 12k but then you pay another 5k for all the goodies. $800 for automatic? $420 for a cd player? $352 to upgrade to a 1.8l and add a rear sway bar aint bad though

Super great buy! That is a killer price - plus it still has the original paperwork!

don't want to disappoint you shurbert but why settle for a prizm? i know its cheap but getting the prizm back to prestine condition would cost alot of money and even with upgrade your not looking to get much power from that car... unless its your daily then that would be a good buy without any repairs...

it is going to be a dd for the wifey. i really don't see her wanting more than some rims and window tint. it would be pointless to do a sprinter conversion for someone that wouldn't appreciate it

yep no plans for it , just rims tint , and maybe a 1" drop. when the motor goes , it will be rebuilt , just with a blacktop head on it. whoever said i cant get power out of it , obviously dont know me.:D

my corolla is the same chassis as the prizm and put down 13 second quarters , and would stay with a carrera s on the highway at high speeds. my first 94 prizm dominated the mountain rds. where i grew up because of some extensive headwork , and other modifications ( im talking about going against ss f-bodies , moostangs , accords etc.) the same ae100 chassis 94 corolla in my shop belongs to corolla_tc , and were looking at almost 400 hp on that car without pushing it (look at the "twincharged buildup thread")(yeah , thats me building that one too)

you can make anything quick if you have the knowledge.
