    My 1st Lex...'99 SC400

Picked this up 2 weeks ago. She's all stock outside of a new set of staggered 20's and new tint. Let me know what ya think. I don't plan on going too crazy with this. Maybe just some h.i.d.'s, cat/axle-back exhaust, drop.

What should I run as far as spacers. I'm not sure what the offsets are but I think if I used 5mm ones in the rear and 10/15mm ones in the front it'd look a little better.

Looks like sum ppl are moving up to Lexus cars. I got a 92 black es300 5 speed I bought in march and restoration is in progress as we speak. If i where u I give that car a good VIP treatment. Nothin too crazy as u say but few mods will set this SC off.

^lol yeah. Only thing mechanically wrong is the valve cover gasket is leaking and pretty much my whole power steering system needs an overhaul. Apparently needs a new pump/rack/and high pressure hose.

lol thanks. some might say 20's are too big/heavy and ruin it but they really don't look that big. the 2 and 5" lips take care of that.

have you seen the one with gold 27s?

20's is a perfect size even the supra owners has 20's so thats no different with the sc300/400.changing the valve cover is easy to change out and for the power steering overhaul give it a shop/mechanic.

    5Zigen Fireball Mega's added

Got everything on yesterday. It's not a true catback but it pretty much is. The exhaust shop told me it wouldn't be worth it to start right from the cat because it would cost me more money with the extra bends and welding up another pair of flanges. The setup is 2.25" piping with an x-pipe.

    Thanks everyone.

The axle back mufflers were $800 shipped and I paid $275 for the parts labor for the install. The wheels don't scratch either.
Stock piping is around 2" to 2.25", because I believe it varies at certain spots. The inlet on the mufflers are 2.5" and the tips are 4.5" and 13" in length.

when is the last time you had the timing belts or water pump replaced? These engines are related to the Tundra v8 and that belt has to be replaced with the water pump at 90k.

Thanks guys. The timing belt and water pump were done at Lexus @ 90k according to their records. The valve cover gaskets, plugs, pcv valve, engine/ tranny mounts and PS high pressure hose have been replaced since my last update. The ps line was just replaced last week but i'm still leaking ps fluid (i think) Looks to be coming from the driver side boot and on the passenger side it looks like it's leaking from the hose at bottom of the ps fluid reservoir.

Since my last update i've added aftermarket headers (4 to 1 design) 6000k low beam & 3000k fog light hid's.

I'm currently waiting on jdm rain visors and a 16 piece led interior light bulb replacement kit.
