They dont look too bad in my opinion. I would paint them bronze if they were mine. And you got a fender gap now that you downsized rims that sucks :(

Are you painting the lip to match the car? If you are, bronze, gunmetal, or black would work. If you're not painting the lip and leaving it black, paint the wheels black. My front lip is black right now and my bronze wheels clash with it. I'll be painting my wheels black in a couple weeks to match.

Actually with spring break here ill probably have time to paint the lip now, how do you recommend i start painting the wheels? Are they aluminum? I was thinking start of with an adhesive then bronze spray paint from fredmeyer :D and my biggest worry is that because of the surface of the rim any paint i spray on will just drip right off so i was thinking heat up the surface with some hair dryers and then get 2 of them at a distance and turn them on the rim and spray.

GENIUS!!!! I WILL SAVE SO MUCH TAPE AND NEWSPAPER NOW!!

im getting started painting tomorrow :)

Well you guys, i got started painting my wheel today, and i think everything went very well, much better, granted it took a whole spray can of primer and bronze paint to get it where i wanted it, and i had to hold a hair dryer and the fact that i cant move or feel my pointer finger from holding down the sprayer so long.... anyways i had pictures of the primer i laid down and the method i used to spray paint but unfortunately my photos got all deleted for some fucked up reason so all i have is the end result. I can take more pics for the next wheels if you want. So aside from the little amount of minor bubbles i have and a dried up paint drip everything looks really nice and glossy. almost professional

If you didn't sand, the primer might not bind the paint to the wheel over time. You might experience peeling or flaking. Just a heads up. Traditionally, you're supposed to use a paint thinner or aircraft paint remover to take the old paint off.

Dude, you need some center caps.

But it is much better than the other wheels. Do you rub at all? Fenders rolled?

most shops that paint rims use the sand blaster but hey if you dont have a sand blaster paint thinner is also a good option.
