whats up , its been quite some time since i posted on here. it says ive missed 100k+ post , so that gives you an idea. some might remember me , some might not . ive had quite a few changes to the corolla (ae101 7th gen)though in the past year. with many more to come this year , including 4 point bar , coilovers , CF hood , FMIC , 15x8's 15mm offset , and more. i also went looking for corollacustoms.cc , and it took me here also. seems like 3 of the best and oldest corolla forums ended up on here. (vvti.net,corolla-racing.com,corollacustoms.cc)

anyway , thought i would post some update pics of the ride.

i know your hood is functional with your s/c but it looks ricer style get rid of it,but other than that everything looks ok

If it's functional, why get rid of it? Now if he switched to a front mount intercooler, then getting rid of the scoop would be a good idea.

FMIC in the works , along with a CF oem hood .


i know . you should see how many punks in civics laugh and try me then drop their jaw when i show them the tail lights before i even hit 3rd

Thats my dream engine right there! how much did you get it and did you do the install? How much did everything cost if you dont mind me asking

i went thru jarco , excellent company , with an even better reputation . i got everything! half cut w/ no sheet metal for $2600. axles , tranny , ecu , igniter , harness , all ancilleries , gauge cluster , radiator , motor mounts , fuel pump , everything!

i had to get a custom power steering psi line and custom fuel line. that ran me about $100

tweak did the harness conversions. i had a few problems w/ the starter wiring , but taken care of now.

altogether about $3000.

oh yeah still have the above 4afe motor and tranny for sale. have everything but starter , flywheel , alternater , clutch , air cond. comp. , harness and header i still have the ecu . and yes the motor was running strong when pulled out. and still does.
