Door closin problem during the cold

Well Ive tried researching this issue, and haven't really found an answer to this. Seen people recommending WD-40 to changing the whole door lol
Well as we are going through some hardcore winters, my car doors, like a lot of other people's, seem to not close. So what should i do to eliminate this problem, and i drive a stick so yea, no fun when doors swinging open, while i shift and steer at the same time

I know you can adjust the hinges to help them close more cleanly? if they don't close at all, figure out what is stopping them

either that or.. your car is desperate to fly like movieSTAR's

car closes fine when warm, just the cold has given me problems and this happened for the first time yesterday and was fine after a while when the car warmed up. As for flying, i think ill stay on the ground for now lol

on mine ice gets trapped between the door seals and jams things up. once I get the door open I usually just run my hand around the edges to knock any ice loose that might freeze to the door again

Another wierd thing is my lock gets stuck like it did today, like i can feel the door trying to open but its like trying to open a locked door. Like i was trying to open the lock, pulled it with all i had and it wouldnt come out all the way but only half way, which was no use so i had to climb out throught the passenger side, this cold weather sucks a$$

does the door shut but just not lock on? I guess what i'm trying to say is does it door shut at least so that the door is flush with the rest of the body but doesn't hook properly and therefore the door opens? if so, then you may want to lube up certain areas in your door and wd40 may work but only temporarily. That should fix the door from not shutting all the way and also if you lube the lock mechanism, it will fix the lock too. I'm assuming some crap got in the door causing it to freeze up when cold. If the door doesn't shut completely, then try to find out what is stopping it from shutting all the way.

Blow dryer FTW!!! Last winter during the negative degree weather I had to sit outside with a blow dryer for a half hour a door it kinda sucked. Stupid me tried closing one door and didnt close so went to the passenger door opened it and wouldnt close. We had to drive my car to my buddies house to use his blow dryer. Not a fun drive lol

As for the locks ive had a few problems with them this winter its like the grease in there freezes up or something. I go to push my keyless entry and my drivers door wont unlock. Theres been times i only can get into the drivers side rear and it really sucks. But my driver door usually freezes more often than the others. I think it might have to do with the plastic cover missing inside my door panel.

bump it with your hip. my window always sticks to the rubber seal (the tops of my doors lack frames) when things get freezycold, and the only way to get the door open is hitting it with my hip.
