the light bulbs are different too!
    98-00 uses H4
01+ uses 9006 for lows and 9005 for highs

i would personally pay that amount to get that professional look. but i think the only problem is that you have to order 4 rings since the IS300 has 2 sets of round lights.

    Angel eyes entering final stage...

Well I've tried the miniblind rod in the oven trick. Not going to happen with these lights. I think they look very nice. The only qualm I have is the slight "hotspot" in the bottom side of the ring. It's not absolutely PERFECT, but I do believe it looks nice and it's really not very distracting at all. Enough with the talk, you want to see some pictures right? You all tell me what you think of them, and be honest, because I don't want to make a bunch of these and have people complain about something later.

    Lights off...

This second picture was a low exposure, the other pictures give an accurate lighting effect.
    It's not really this dull.

How come the thickness of the ring is not even? Maybe it's just reflection and the camera angle?
Other then that, it looks sooooooooo nice!! :D

Interesting point!... However, you can see that even on the 2nd page when Statik had posted pictures of the prototype.

You're right, it is the reflection. The thickness does vary SLIGHTLY, maybe 1/32 of an inch, but you'd have to stare at it from 4 inches away to tell.

    :p read the headlines!

Well it's about final. The design is where I think its good. I'm just getting feedback from people. I think I'm going to go through with it unless someone has a really good change or idea that I am able to do.

In the kit I'm not going to include a switch. I'll leave that up to people. You may just want to run them with your parking lights. Right now it will include; Instructions, wires, rings, LEDs and resistors (to convert the voltage). The price I'm still working on.

I saw a set of angel rings aka halo at discount auto parts for $15.00. It has led & wiring built in already. I think the size is 5" dia. I'll look at it again tomorrow.

Here they are. I got them at Advance Auto parts. They are too big though, at 5" diameter.
