Well if the pistons weren't changed and the engine built up a little 10 lbs is the highest you would want to go

^ LOL @ lies... I havent heard from vortex in a while too... I didnt know max boost came at 5k RPMs. By the time you hit boost its time to shift again... Any numbers on the wheels?

im running 10 lbs of boost because i have a 2.3 pulley on there....also...my engine is stock...with no water injection...so i dont wanna push it past 10/11 lbs of boost...trd made that blower for the 03/04 1zz's...but they made an adaptor plate so the 05-08 guys could run one with the help of engine management...If u do a lil research...u'll see that supercharged 1zz's with the stock 2.4 pulley hit 7-8-9 lbs of boost max...turbo's r a diff story..

blower, jp header, injen short ram, emanage blue, 2.25 custom QUIET exhaust (fart cans FTL) and alot of late night tuning = 10 lbs of 'safe' boost :)

I agree that tuning makes or breaks a build. Also, on the cluch part, the only downside to running a stock clutch is it will give in faster because of the extra load -- or so I think.

I don't know anything about auto tranny, but in mt, 10lbs of boost shouldnt do much damage...

Why would anyone pay all that money to boost an automatic? A manual swap should have been the first thing done.

an automatic would be better for him if he is drag racing. wouldnt have to worry about shifting.
