If A is FWD and 1ZZFE and C is RWD and 7MGTE, how does A = C? And what would you consider B? A FWD 7MGTE setup? Maybe 2 turbos on a shorty 1ZZFE exhaust manifold? I don't follow. If this analogy actually made sense, I would understand how the kid got the idea, but nothing matches up.

if they were the old 70's celica supras....they are 4 cylinders and yes they are the celica supra my brother has one and its a turbo charged 4cyl.

btw some people have slapped a 7mgte into a corolla....i read about it when i singed up back in the day.

There were no Celica Supras in the 70's except for 79. They didn't go turbo until 1980 with the M-TEU. The inline 6 motor is one of the Supra's legacies, so I doubt it ever had a 4 cylinder. Are you sure it's Celica Supra? It could have just been a Celica. I know for a fact there was no widely available turbo 4 at that time. The M series started turbo first before the S series were touched. Perhaps it was a 22R-TE in a Celica. the 22R's were introduced into Celica's in 78.

Yeah, I've seen and read up on those swaps too. However, this a swap from the Mark III supra into a AE86 Corolla. That's possible since the engine layout of the 4AGE and the 7MGTE in both cars are the same. They're both traversely mounted. He's referring to his 8th gen, yes. The 8th gen has the motor mounted laterally. LOL
