Overspray

    Overspray

    Well i had rust taken care of from my wheels arches but a lot of overspray was done to the panels in the proces. No clay bar wont work cause ive already tried that, i need helpppp

    You'll have to sand the overspray down and repaint those sections.

    if he's tried the claybar and nothing happened, rubbing compound will not work either. The best thing to do is to call the mfr of the spray and ask them if there is any 'harmful' chemical that can be bought that can take off the stuff without possibly hurting the paint job or clear coat. if they say no, then plan b which is do what rollatuner said or you can go find a bored chemist and have him figure out how the spray works and create a new formula to take the stuff off.. hehe

    Wet Sand then polish might work, might not need to spray

    When the pro's paint cars, the last step before clear is wet sand. I actually wet sanded my entire car once to get the paint back to the original luster. So you don't need to repaint, just use a really fine grit sandpaper and plenty of water

    ok the guy said, wheel it off and itll be fine, you guys think so? btw the overspray is clearcoat and not the actual spray paint, that why its not that visible
