    Question.

Okay im kind of in a dilemma right now. I have some money to spend but im not sure what I want yet for my car. heres the two im trying to decide between.

1 TRD muffler $323.00 I could buy that right now but be almost drained of my spending money. I really want exhaust on my car but everyone I know around town is getting pulled over for it. So i figured the TRD muffler would be a good exhaust bc its legal.

2 I could get my TIEN S tech springs $211.47 which would lower my car 1.9 front and 1.4 rear. I would also have extra money to get foglights for my car.

So what do you guys think springs and fogs, or TRD muffler??

    Thanks! Robbie

Looks like a nice muffler, but have you had any experience with it? or know anyone who has? I dont like buying things off the internet that I havnt experienced or seen someone else use. But the price is right and it looks like a nice muffler. I just want it really deep sounding. I always give my friends crap for their ricey sounding cars. :D

Well I was digging up some old threads a few nights ago and came across some links for the TRD mufflers

    www.trdracing.com
    http://toyotapartspeople.com/search...t Sport Muffler

So they are still out there and my thoughts were get one before they completely discontinue them just bc the fact that the fogs and lowering springs arent going anywhere anytime soon

trdracing.com doesnt have any. I called them up years ago trying to buy one, they said they've never updated their site. Just to let you know, I was willing to stupidly spend up to $400 for a new TRD muffler a year back, trust me, there is no new muffler out there so just scratch out the option of the trd muffler. If you do happen to find one for less than $300, buy it for the rarity, or else just get a magnaflow universal.

This is what I would do..... if you miss out, who knows how long you have to wait before you come across another one.

    Don't sleep on it.

    I choose option D)

    None of the above ;)

put your money in a 6 month CD then wait for it to mature, do that a few times, then go buy a full suspension set.

You cant really be serious here. He has 350 bucks. Putting that in a CD and waiting 3 years would only get him about 40 bucks at 4%.

with the purchase of springs are you considering alignment in the cost? i am guessing you are installing yourself since that cost wasn't mentioned? i would go for lowering. exhausts get annoying and they don't sound right on a corolla.

No muffler. No one gives a crap about mufflers.

A quiet lowered car is a lot better than a loud car

I say drop it or a sound system. You'd enjoy that better.

So I guess the weight or your sound system had already lowered the rear of your car. You only need to lower the front now. :D :D :D

I think lowering the car is what I am going to do now. I saw that Vamp has a set of TRD springs for sale for 175.00 and I sent him a PM but it shows he has not been on since June 28th. Anyone know how I could get ahold of him other than through here? Also what's the quality of the TRD springs and how much would it lower my car?

The TRD Springs are Eibach prokits. 1.25" all around. Eibach springs are good way to go. I'm running the TRD springs myself.

He no longer owns that car. That's why. He sold it to Dr. Tweak, so it's not up to him anymore to part it out. He said he may have some parts left over to sell, but it's going to take a while.

Okay thanks. Do you know if Dr. Tweak is going to keep the car whole and fix it? or part it out?
