    What MPG you getting?

I do mostly all city driving. I changed my driving style a bit and went from 22mpg to 26mpg from last fillup. Still trying to change my driving habits to achieve more MPG.

    How about you guys?

    30-31 mixed city/highway. I could get close to 40 if drove super conservatively... but I won't. :D

I just picked up my '01 Corolla S (manual) about 2 weeks ago and recorded my first mileage. 36MPG with about 60% highway/40% city. Logged a total 360 miles with about an 1/8 left in the tank. Filled it up with 9.95 gallons until first click. I am so happy! This is the sole reason why I got rid of my 19-21 MPG Lexus. Best part, this Corolla takes 87 octane. :D

i get 33 because my daily driving is about 75 city 25 highway and we have photo cops and cops like mad on the freeway i drive on so its all 65 for me and i accelerate hard but i don't go more than 5 over the speed limit in the city thats my definition of not conservatively

i dont drive conservatively .. and i probably get the worst gas mileage out of all of you guys .. i get anywhere from 19-24mpg. I drive an auto '01 and when it hits redline i gas it more. So hence the reason i get terrible gas mileage. If i drove conservatively then i am able to achieve about 26-30mpg.

Ive been keeping it under 2500 recently and been trying to practice signal light timings and costing. Now Im determined to keep it under 2k and practice my coasting and timings some more but Im afraid Ill get run over the by the huge SUVs that are still on the road. Ive already gotten many honks and fingers keeping it under 2500 lol.

my vw rabbit gets 27.4-28.7 with 50/50 and i keep it at 70ish on the freeway. the FJ on the other hand gets 17.8-18.3 with same driving, but i didn't get the FJ for the mpg rating. FJ also has some extra weight added with BFG tires and takes premium.

Well I hate to say but, I drive about the same way and getting about the same or maybe better. Also the poor little 4cyl is moded like crazy (but then again so is the car). So yes it is possible. Our cars (all cars for that matter) come with the potential for better hp and mileige.

The R18A1 is pretty efficient. I'm surprised. :)
