where's dropzones??

There's another type of H&R springs. The one I had gave me 2" drop all around and were way stiffer than the 1.5" H&R and Tein S-Techs. I don't remember the model number or part number though.

Tanabe also made springs for our corolla. There's Tanabe Super Down which gives about 2.5" drop and was great when paired with a good stiff struts.

TRD USA Springs Part Numbers:
00602-48131-CF (front)
00602-48131-CR (rear)

There is also a number stamped next to the actual TRD logo. The fronts are kinda hard to make out because I bought used springs but I examined them extremely carefully and Im 100% sure on the rear number, 95% sure on front number. FWIW I have no idea what these numbers mean or stand for.
Front: 87045
Rear: 87830

EDIT: I found the combined part number on the springs.

I tried searching for them again at tirerack and still cant find them.. what did you enter for search parameters?

I'm not sure if I want to list drop zones, they're kinda a joke

about tanabe I am aware Tanabe Japan has some applications but their website is a PITA to look at because they list applications written in Japanese instead of chassis codes.:sad:

Also the TRD USA Springs are not rebadged eibach prokits. The Eibach prokits were 1.3" drop all around I believe. The sport lines were F 1.7"/ R 1.5" ????? The TRDs are 1.5" all around. dont quote me on the actual eibach drop amounts but I know for sure the prokits had less of a drop than trd springs.

Fine, i'll list dropzone..I think ksports are a joke too but they made it up there so I'm not going to descriminate.

There are the drop rates for 3 diff sets of eibach springs for 7th/8th gens on racingsolution as well as drop rates for many other springs.

All lowering springs for the Corolla are a joke. Only the ones by Road Magnet have the right stiffness to keep the car from hitting the bumpstops.

thats wierd, its working for everyone else, well i went to tirerack.com then go under products, then suspension, then brands and youll find the whole eibach lineup there.

As for the dropzones, i just know of people with them and having no problems so i thought they wont be as bad

Tirerack does in fact sell eibach springs, BUT, they do not sell springs for our cars. Only springs tirerack sells for our cars are the H&Rs.

Try www.roadmagnet.com under Chevy. These are real performance springs that are best paired up with Koni inserts, which require cutting open your stock struts. I do not recommend any other lowering spring. Then again, I am the only one on here that thinks they suck.

I don't think racing solutions have updated their site in years so that's probably why eibach they're still on there. I couldnt find them on Tirerack or the Eibach official website. But I did put down the specs, I wont know until someone actually try to order them.

i might just get the springs alone, also i want a bigger drop up front compared to the back, can those be specified when ordering? i was thinking 1 inch back, 1.5 inches up front

the chevy springs will work for the 8th?

hey i forgot to mention, the ebay listing i mentioned comes with a lifetime warranty, so hey, thats a pretty bold commitment in itself if its just some no name brand out there. im talkin bout the dropzone shock and spring combo

you should add the comment about which ever sway bar that was that has a lower clearance than stock. It's a issue if bottoming out.

And add that the Bilstein rear struts for the 98-02 do not fit and to use the 93-97 ones.

Yes, the Chevy/Geo Prizm is the same mechanically as the 7th gen corolla.

You're not thinking about putting these on your stock struts are you ? The drop on these is about 1.7 front 1.5 back.

yea i was, i might just go the tien S tech route with 1.9 front and 1.4 back or ground controls, but are just ground controls fine???

My Impressions: Take advantage of the fact that you can select your own spring rates!!! These coilovers are good for either street or race and that is dependant on the spring rate. It is recommended that you use koni inserts but if you choose a lower spring rate you can use Tokico, KYB, or others with great success.

Ground Controls are pretty much springs that you can adjust. If you do get ground controls, make sure you get diff spring rates. Ground controls will not work well with stock struts, you will need to purchase aftermarket struts to accomdate the ground controls. They can fit over the stockers, but pointless.

so then in that case, dropzones are pretty much my only choice
