Fast and the Furious 4

So today I went to go give blood. It's always fun since they let you indulge in all you can eat cookies and chips and other snacks and drinks.. i usually see how much of it i can consume and how much garbage I can create. hehe..

Anyway, while i was there, I was talking to a fellow assistant camera man who was also giving blood about how he was working on FF4 and currently he is working at night near pasadena shooting the film. I got a basic idea of the story line... which sucks btw, and one of the auto stunt directors (or at least someone important who makes decisions) just got fired last month because his vision of "rally racing" (like WRC Style) wasn't good enough and they wanted more drifting on streets. Well although this was all done already in the previous movie, they are going to do it again. So essentially, this movie is going to be very similar to the previous movie, just not in "japan" anymore and slightly different story line (which still sucks).

The other bad news is there really aren't any Toyota's anymore in the movie. There will be some in the background but none as main cars.

I never took F&F seriously anyways.

btw, I actually saw and know where that husk of a supra they used in the movie is. It's sitting in the recycling yard of Toyoparts Only in Hollywood. At least it was there 5 years ago when I last saw it. LOL

i was excited initially since they were using the impreza and were going to have rally style action scenes.. now i'm upset..

Ah, it's only F&F. Let's make our own movie. LOL I'm sure it can't be any worse than what they're coming up with.

that was significantly less visually entertaining than the F&F movies.

did he say any when ff4 will in the theater?i just hope the story line is good and no rap star celebrity trying to act like they into racing.

True. But the visually entertaining parts of F&F were pretty unbelievable. Both bad.

eh, i guess i'll go against the grain here and say i liked the first and third movies...sure, they're impossible to believe and the facts were way off, but they were visually entertaining.

the second should just be buried and forgotten.

i actually knew about this for quit some time now, its supposed to be a prequal of Drift. has people from TFATF and Han from Drift.

To tell you the truth, when the first movie came out, I was thrilled. It was the first movie that addressed the whole import scene. Sure the acting, sequences, and script writing was horrible, but it was better than nothing. However, as for stretching the series this long, I disapprove. LOL

you might disapprove, but you know theaters will be flooded...at least the first weekend.

this is like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie series - they kept making them until people stopped going, then left it alone for awhile and remade the original

i think it might be good, but ill watch it at the $1 movies.

i wish there were $1 movies here...

99% of the people hating on the movie will be waiting in line with everyone else to see it. im not sure why hating everything has become the COOL thing to do, its a very sad trend as of late.

i wish people would just quit with the inconsistencies from the movie, most of the people i have spoken to only crack jokes because everyone else does... these supposed car guys dont know the first thing about cars.

im with you every step of the way here, lilbit. its a movie. and a movie, first and foremost, is entertainment. and the first and third movies were very enertaining. entertaining, and succesful, enough to warrant a 4th movie.

lets just enjoy the movie for what it is.

I still haven't seen the 3rd one. lol

its gonna be vin diesel and paul walker again for sure, i also read that both of their girl friends from the first one are gonna be in it as well....

my friends dads friend was the picture-car coordinator for the 3rd one and now is in charge of all the cars for the 4th one...and we went and saw all the cars
