can someone hook me up with a diy on how to do this? ive found the exhaust leak on my header after i did carb cleaner and its coming from the o2 sensor...

It's easy, but you'll need a grooved socket with a slit on the side to remove it due to the wire. Spray a little lubricant on the threads first and let it penetrate, since it's been heat baked for so long. Just remove as you would any normal screw.

i didnt realise that oe sensors are so expensive...

just get a universal one and solder the wires.

i really need to find this exhaust leak too. maybe i can seafoam it so i can see where the smoke is leaking out of? or is there a better way?

Why does everyone want to try seafoam? That stuff is evil. For an exhaust leak, you'll want to spray soapy water on the suspected area and check for bubbles. A stethoscope will also tell you where.
